Is android.policy.jar in your tools folder and is that the correct name? (ie did you unzip it and place the jar file in the tools folder)

this would be great as an update.zip

I've done the installation, but second command posted here is incorrect, that's why i couldn't do it.

adb push android.policy.jar /system/framework/

That's the correct command.

I see. Yeah I did this a week ago. Guess my memory as to what exactly I did is not very good. Sorry. Glad you got it to work. It looks great!

Uhm.. What can I've done wrong if my phone just keeps restarting after installing this?

Using LCR 1.7, Acer_LiquidE_1.100.05_EMEA_GEN1.

What ROM are you using ?

LCR 1.7.

This won't work on LCR 1.7 (not compatible)

That might be a good reason to why it doesn't work..

Is it compatible with LCR1.6?

Yes it is.

Then I'll downgrade (for the first time ) my phone, cause I really want that unlockscreen..

download the zip, put it on sd, wipe data and then just flash it?

Before you've answered I've probably already tried it:)

Or, it's not worth it.

I did it!!! Wohooo Yeah!!!

Rotary lockscreen for Liquid is done!

I fixed the icons and the text.

Create a backup of your android.policy.jar!

Download this: android.policy.zip EDIT: This is only for 1.100.05!

Extract it somewhere, remount /system rw, push android.policy.jar to /system/framework, reboot.

First boot will take some time since the dalvik-cache will be rebuild.

Have fun!

adb push android.policy.jar /system/framework

adb reboot

Thanks, but I saw that in another topic:P

Hard to remember that everything is (or, almost..) adb-commands..

But, thanks anyway::lol:

Do a backup and try? Worse-case-scenario is probably that your Liquid just ends up in a boot-loop, and that's fixed by simply recovering from the backup you made before installing the lockscreen :D

I've tried right now, it don't work, the lockscreen is the same as before and seems to haven't any problem on device after push.

Then, that's another reason for me to wait with 2.2 a bit longer :3

But, thanks for reminding me about one thing!

Did not work on LCR 1.8 (GalaxyLiquid w/ Battery %) on 1.000.39 for me.

Would it be possible for anybody to port this? Or explain roughly how to port it?

Thanks in advance.
