Guest AndiTails Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 If you haven't unlocked your bootloader - you cannot install 'custom' ROMs - including this one.

(like tethering) I havnt tested to see if it works yet but is it supposed to be like this? (ie could we flash this over any 'custom' ROM and it work? )

Guest fabiocampos Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 I can apply over the Cyanogen Custom ROM (5.0.7) without WIPE ? Thanks a lot.
Guest deanesn Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 I can't remember seeing reviewers talking about this in the initial review but froyo has 270 degree rotation now which is very nice for none rooted people.
Guest Sylar2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 Upgrading from Desire rom without wipe would not work
Guest RjLan Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 I can apply over the Cyanogen Custom ROM (5.0.7) without WIPE ? Thanks a lot. Looks like you can, I just flashed and phone booted up just fine. I haven't played around yet, but it doesn't look like you need to wipe if running CM 5.0.7 (I was running test2)
Guest lyrikal757 Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 Upgrading from Desire rom without wipe would not work ) Desire is not based on a stock android ROM so that would make sense IMO.
Guest cezent Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 No Wipes needed works like a charm, lightning fast! a few apps are functioning strangely: lookout, Seesmics for start, but seems more like app not updated for 2.2 yet. fhash is awesome!
Guest wastebag Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 Awesome Paul!! Thanks for the hard work! Is this radio a new radio that comes with the Official Froyo for N1? And this is for the T-Mobile version of the N1 right?

Guest navychief52 Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 Thanks, I did the reboot and found myself in a perpetual force close loop with Helix Launcher 2 From the SDK su cd data/app ls (find the Helix Launcher apk name) mount -o rw,remount /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system rm com.helixproject.launcher2.spk (Or what ever the name is for your helix 2 apk)
Guest k2bk2bk2b Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 Additional news. HTC cime keyboard works as well as many other apps...
Guest siimo Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 (edited) How do you know if an app from the market is installing to the SD card ??? or does it do that by auto now ? Upgraded fine from MCR without any wipe  many thanks Paul :D Edited May 22, 2010 by siimo
