Disabling Samsung start up animation

Is there any way to remove/disable start up animation and sound "Samsung"? I searched the forums but didnt find anything and hence this post.

I'm looking how to do this also, I am looking to remove the verizon phone company start up animation though. I think it involes deleting the CSC, but I have no idea how to do it.

Try look for this file and delete it, don't forget to make backup

I tried deleting them using Resco Explorer. It gives me an error that these files are already in ROM and are read-only and hence cannot be deleted. How to fix this problem?
