Guest
This guy just wants to prick your phone. Don't bother. Although I don't think it would brick it, I'd rather wait for someone with more than 5 posts to confirm it
Guest hungary
probably fake. If u reflash a firmware, all settings, and everything erased. Thats not logical
Guest evrCT
Seems so....the procedure doesn't even look logical yes, i know. but it works. a few guys in that forum confirm the procedures. it's a little bit complicated, but ANW, it works. BTW, it changes the starting image to HUAWEI logo instead of t-mobile. i think huawei adds something, wait for Paul or Bobo to finger it out. Vibs are always working with 8220-6 phones Doesn't even have to say U8220-6, the swedish versions only say U8220. It may be that they do somewhere else as well... Guest Rizzly
It's a bit off topic, but may I ask what the difference is between U8220 and U8220-6? U8220-6 won't work with the 1.5 MCR, the touch-screen refuses to work. Also a2sd won't work on U8220-6, it will disable all 2g/3g-connectivity. On 2.1 on the other hand, U8220-6 is actually better. Vibrate works for example!
Guest MarcusHenrique
I have U8220-6 and 2.1 with vibrate working always.. I believe that's cause I have the chinese april update (I'm not chinese, i had to flash other rom in order to use the phone), my boot screen has a chinese operator logo. So this guy might be telling the truth. Don't make fun of him.

Guest Search&Replace
It is so great! That does works, my Pulse got vibrate with 2.1!!! :D Guys, thx for your sharing !!
Guest MarcusHenrique
It's not a matter of it'll work on U8220 or not. This update problably replace some drivers, including vibration ones. If U8220, pulse, or any version is listed as upgradeable on the updata.app file, it'll upgrade, it'll work, and it WON'T brick your phone. In fact, if this upgrade has huawei logo instead of that ugly chinese provider logo that mine have, I myself gonna flash it later tonight.
