Hello guys,

I saw a few threads here and on XDA that discuss VoIP clients for Omnia II that also support G.729, but in each there are already hundreds of replies and versions and phone models and it's practically impossible to figure out what to do in order to get one to work.

It would be great if someone that got it to work would post a short step-by-step "manual" for us to get a SIP client, including (at least some of) the following features capabilities:

1. Connects to any SIP provider we want to set.

2. Works over WiFi and 3G networks (automatically uses Internet available, like Opera and Messaging does).

3. Doesn't force you to Hands-Free, like some software I used once (and didn't really work).

4. Integrates fully with the Omnia II phone menus, so that a person would have a choice to make a voice call, a video call, a VoIP call...

5. Supports G.729

I'm sure that the community will benefit from such a "guide".

Thanks.
