How to get factory "My Storage" content back?

I deleted some pre-loaded stuff from My Storage ages ago (power dict, and some other stuff), and now I find I need it to use some built-in apps. In particular, I was trying to use the "translate" feature of Smart Reader (which fails due to the missing PowerDict stuff), and when I try to use Smart Search it pops up a dialog saying "Initializing..." and never gets any further.

So, (after backing up My Storage) I did Settings->Memory Settings->Clear All Data to restore the device to the factory configuration.

Everything went well except one thing: My Storage is wiped, but the factory stuff was not put back. It's completely blank.

This is not the dreaded "My Storage is gone" problem. It's there, 8GB, and is working fine. It's just that everything that was preloaded on the phone is gone. Ferrari GT, Nuance, PowerDict, etc. -- nothing was "restored".

Any ideas?

do a hard reset, I think some things got placed there when I did a hard reset a while back.

(please note that a hard reset will wipe everything from the phone, so do a backup first...)
