Guest Rem1x Posted June 1, 2010 Report Posted June 1, 2010 And it doesnt matter that the files in your framework are a fraction of the size of the original? Open the framework, you'll notice only one folder is there. Replace that folder only.
Guest Epic-Emodude Posted June 1, 2010 Report Posted June 1, 2010 Open the framework, you'll notice only one folder is there. Replace that folder only. I was refering more the files in the META-INF Folder
Guest Rem1x Posted June 1, 2010 Report Posted June 1, 2010 I was refering more the files in the META-INF Folder Oh those? Leave them alone, that just tells android what to update, so if you use that for the full ROM, only the framework will install!

Guest Epic-Emodude Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 Hi, I have put the blue framework into a ROM I am editing. If I put the blue launcher pro app in /system/app and then deleted launcher.apk and launcherdb.apk would launcher pro become my default launcher? Also, would i have to rename launcher pro to launcher.apk for it to work? Thanx Aaron

My pressing the home-key for 5 secs. you can choose your default launcher.

But if its not a good idea ill leave it there.

Guest eckengucker1 Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 board search... take root explorer mount as "r/w" and navigate to system/build.prop
Guest niko1986 Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 Or if you dont wanna pay for Root Explorer use the FREE Estrongs File Manager works just as well for these tasks
Guest biron_w Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 I don't get how to edit the build.prop. I have root explorer, found the files.Yet even when I change something it just goes back to being the same if I leave the folder :( :(
