Put this into a new framework? Please? Pwitty Pwease? :)

Or just incorporate it into Darkstar. That would make me host another lurve partay.

Speaking of which, I'm gonna need to get new music for ma iPod. Partay in school cos ma French teacher be leaving on Friday!! :) :)

I have been looking at adding the circle battery and have managed to create a framework-res.apk file that has it in it and it works the only down side is the clock and notification text is black and is unreadable.

I have posted the framework-res file here:

http://www.mediafire.com/file/2lanzwj2ttj/framework-res.apk

So if anyone wants to get it working with white text and do so

have reached the limits of my ability with this so any help, please :)

Awesome! Just PM flibblesan (two post above) in case he doesn't see this, I think he already solved this with the espresso framework. Cheers!

Ok

I have cracked it i hope :) , I have post a zip file with both a new framework-res.apk and a build.prop file, by fibblesan, all you need to do is replace your original framework-res.apk file and the build.prop and re-cook your rom and there you have it a circle battery meter

http://www.mediafire.com/file/wntmlnunei0/framework-res.zip

use at you own risk, etc.

Re-cook the ROM?

And, with no ADB knowledge (and lazyness :) ), can I use Root Explorer?

Also, well done! Although I haven't seen it yet on my phone...

Nevermind - Worked ADB out :)

Next challenge - There is a services.jar that, I think, makes the icons in the middle work, the plug and the percentage. Is it possible and how? :)

Winner gets a free VIP love partay!

Tried just copying it over = boot loop. No logcat, dunno how to use or if it would help but it didn't work...

Damn I wanted that percentage! :)

yeah, just flash this like any other rom.

It just adds these 2 files to your system, nothing more.

Do an backup before.

Kewl. I thought it could've been a new thing, cos I installed it manually...

what do you mean with "manual installation"?

Copied the files through ADB. Yep, I know how to use it now!

Maybe you can help me too ;-) I don t know where to download the drivers, that are needed for ADB-use? I found some drivers here in our forum, but they did not help to install all unknown devices...

I am using XP.

I don't know about drivers, but I used the ADB in the custom recovery download. On my Mac (laptop. Neva Apple :) ) I didn't install any drivers or anything.

Are there any frameworks like this to flash for MCR 1.7?

Guest igor_anta

Yes. ogiogi made one for MCR 1.7 t-mobile style

http://android.modaco.com/index.php?s=&amp...t&p=1289778

Can this be modified to work on 2.1? I remember it was kinda more complete than the one we have now (the dialog boxes and the transparent effect when you drag down the notification bar). So is it a possibility to so this? Also I wouldn't mind a link to a tutorial or an explanation how to do this myself ;) Cheers!
