I suppose the incoming/outcoming sound "bug" is because the sound is only coming trough the call speaker, or are they actually two different problems?

Most probably not proper routing.

I think we should write an open letter together to Acer. Maybe then looking at community results they will provide us with sources + build setup (the most important part, actually).

I agree! Can anyone starts a new site for this "petition"? I can do it...

VERY NICE WORK MEN! I LOVE U ^^

edit: any chance for FM RADIO?

Call sound, wifi don't work yet.

As for MultiTouch, I believe the devs will have troubles porting it because of the 1.6 Kernel source, because if it's like for disc0, they will have to enable MT manually in apps.

And there's where having 2.1 sources could help.

It's just a guess, maybe I'm wrong.

The linux kernel 2.6.29 has no problems with multitouch, the reason we needed to manually modify apps, is because donut does not handle multitouch, but since this is froyo we are talking about, multitouch should work without any modifications to the kernel nor the system. :( Just my 2c. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that as long as froyo supports it, it will work.

@Devs

Great job!

Je vous soutiens, allez Malez, Vache et phh! :(

Let me add to the choir: this is AWESOME! Thanks for putting so much effort in getting everything to work. Acer should pay you big bucks..

I don't even own the Liquid yet, but this (and all the other custom mods you guys created) makes for a very compelling reason to get it.

Curious: how's the general responsiveness of the interface with Froyo compared to Donut/Eclair on the Liquid?

As posted on my twitter, 3D is now working, launcher2 and live wallpapers.

About responsivness i would say it is really smooth and reponsive without any kind of optimisation. Froyo is full of feature with the feel of a light rom.Faster than eclair, for sure, donut maybe

If you want to the flash working on liquid

Guys, I can't believe it! You're simply awesome!

So, what's not working?

WiFi & Call Sound, then?

GPS? Other? :(

EDIT- I remember a thing: with 998mHz kernel some Liquids had reboot (like mine). Will you make a no-overclocked version?

I guess one could choose his preferred Cpu Frequency from Set Cpu.....
