Guest jamin100 Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 Hi, Will there be a root & rom based on the latest 1.32 rom that is available? I believe that this rom fixes issues with the poor signal for some people but now that I have a HTC 1.31 rooted rom I am unable to get the update from vodafone... Any news on this?

Guest fighting4android Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 I am willing to upgrade to modaco ad free but please answer my question
Guest zabique32 Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 If there is no rooting for v1.32 then is it possible to downgrade ROM to 1.31 ? I want Rodigues ROM on my legend :(
Guest Sounds Like Me Posted May 30, 2010 Report Posted May 30, 2010 (edited) Snap, if there is a way of either stepping back or there is a 1.32 root available, I would consider going add free for the online kitchen! Although the android 2.2 update is meant to be coming for the legend at some point so why root 1.32 when it would be easier to wait an root 2.2 for everyone Edited May 30, 2010 by Sounds Like Me
Guest james194zt Posted June 5, 2010 Report Posted June 5, 2010 (edited) Hi If you have not upgraded to the 1.32 ROM from Vodafone over the air, I have just uploaded the rooted version of the Vodafone UK ROM this afternoon that is at 1.32 (it is the same as the latest OTA update). Hope that helps Thanks James Edited June 5, 2010 by james194zt
Guest tripledes Posted June 5, 2010 Report Posted June 5, 2010 (edited) You mean your phone has to be on a <1.32 ROM before using your rooted ROM? Thanks. Guest james194zt Posted June 6, 2010 Report Posted June 6, 2010 You mean your phone has to be on a <1.32 ROM before using your rooted ROM? Thanks. Yes this is more for people who are stuck that have already done the rooted update that Paul did and want to get up to 1.32 for the fixes or want to get back to the Voda ROM for warranty etc... It will not help people who have already upgraded, has anybody with a 1.32 tried Paul's rooting method out of interest? if you have what errors did you get. Thanks James

Thanks James On step1 I got: INFOchecking main version... FAILED (remote: 43 main version check fail) On step2 the error was device not found....but I think this is because the step1 was failed. Thanks.
Guest chucky.egg Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 (edited) I just got a Legend, which immediately updated (and I OK'd) to 1.32 So does that mean I'm stuck with it? I was hoping for an MCR ROM (2.1 is fine) to get rid of the Vodafone branding Edited June 14, 2010 by chucky.egg
Guest arzme Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 this is just a thought only.... have u guys ever use official 1.31 rom frm http://www.shipped-roms.com/shipped/Legend/ to flash, before rooting using Paul method. if it is impossible, how abt using the 'goldcard' method to flash the old official rom?
Guest zabique32 Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 Unfortunately there is no 1.31 ROM for Vodafone UK, but thnx anyway
