Guest sunnnny Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 have you tried it? Paul's vanilla roms are based off the 8230 rom... based on, but not equal too. The /boot - maens the kernel and thus the drivers are different. The /boot on Pauls vanilla is from a 8220, the system (android itself) from 8230. The wrong modules/drivers in the kernel are the reason for the touchscreen not to work.
Guest ozren Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 Would it be hard to replace wrong drivers with the ones from leaked ROMs?
Guest Jan M Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 Would it be hard to replace wrong drivers with the ones from leaked ROMs? not hard...already being worked on... http://android.modaco.com/content-page/309743/2-1-for-u8230/
