have you tried it? Paul's vanilla roms are based off the 8230 rom...

based on, but not equal too.

The /boot - maens the kernel and thus the drivers are different. The /boot on Pauls vanilla is from a 8220, the system (android itself) from 8230.

The wrong modules/drivers in the kernel are the reason for the touchscreen not to work.

Would it be hard to replace wrong drivers with the ones from leaked ROMs?

From T-Mobile Hungary:

Ha kikerül a jó, megírom. Elnézést kérek a hibáért!

If the working rom is out, we post it. I apologize for the error!

Downloaded it. It contains a dload folder, a new version of PC Suite and the HU customization. The actual dload folder is 133MB in size.

No, I did not... mainly because it still is booting... seems to loop at T-Mobile animaton :(

adb shell is not working yet, seems that USB Debugging is deactivated by default.

Well, I am going to take off my partitioned SD Card and reboot... bbl

EDIT: That did the trick, the Setup Wizard is greeting me :-)
