You need 1.5 december update to do this I think...

Thanks for the quick answer, but I think I have the december update,I installed the MCR needing the december update, and when I boot my phone with red key+volume down+power , I see "nov 26 2009" so I guess it's the december update..

I don't know how I can do to apply this update, and I have never had any problem with my pulse,it's weird.

I tweeted T-mobileUK about how Hungary have released it and of course, I got a "T-Mobile typical reply"

I got exactly the same response except at least they spelled available correctly on mine.

It works fine in English, I'm using the UK T-mobile Pulse and this update works great. Not 100% sure on reboots ect...have to wait and see. But it should be fine, its an official rom! They wouldn't release it if it had errors & random reboots! Atleast I hope they wouldn't!

UK Pulse Install Progress Report

As a few people are asking for it - let me know which functions you want me to test. I downgraded to MCR 1.7 then upgraded to 2.1 (and repartitioned my SD card back to entirely FAT32). I didn't do the Customized_HU file.

Has been installed for about ten minutes, no FC or reboot thus far.

Confirmed:

- Installed successfully

- All in English

- Received a call

- Mobile data (3G)

- Sync with Google (in process right now, but found the account etc.)

To test:

-WiFi

- Market

We need more than MCR, we need a U8220-6 official update, otherwise we won`t have our system partition resized, and MCR won`t work =////

Sweet, downloading now...

What does the Customized_HU file do anyway? Is the install process easy enough with this ROM?

They've moved the rom's system layout. But if we want to have the proper 2.1 we can't count on that. We need the bigger system partition.

I read on this thread or another thread that it fixes some shortcut problem as well as add some shortcuts that are Hungary specific. I'm not sure though :S

At least here in Chile then all my hopes are in the huaweidevice.com site. Movistar really don't care.

I want to install this ROM on my UK Pulse, is it safe to do so?

Will I be able to return to MCR1.7, using a different boot.img through Superboot?

Thanks :(

Just successfully connected to my work wifi and have been able to access the Market via 2G service (can't try with Wifi cos we got a proxy server!!) So assuming those things working on UK T-Mobile too... My sync with Google worked perfectly too
