Guest Spooke Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 Does this update remove the Recovery mode?
Guest chote Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 For everyone that has problems to upgrade, little hint, use the manual for the December upgrade, I used it and had no problems at all. http://support.t-mobile.co.uk/help-and-sup...FTWAREDOWNLOADS Everything is working fine, no FC, no reboots of course. My first impression is that, its a little bit slower than the previus 2.1 Paul&Bigbear Rom.
Guest marcox1987 Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 Köszi, de nem abban vagyok láma.....
Guest marcox1987 Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 ????? Does this update remove the Recovery mode?

My first impression is that, its a little bit slower than the previus 2.1 Paul&Bigbear Rom. That's true! I've installed the new ROM, but beforehand I applied the December Update just to be sure :( Everyone should do that! @marcox1987: Te is tedd ezt!

Guest GDanii Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 ????? Anyone, does this remove the Recovery mode?? The mode is avalible, but there is an "Android system recovery utility" and you can do a factory reset or wipe cache partition.
Guest igor_anta Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 (edited) ????? Anyone, does this remove the Recovery mode?? Yes I just tried that, it's not there. I'm not sure if it will work if i install it again. EDIT: On the previous page it's explained, sorry i missed that, AmonRa is removed but you can put it back just like before. Just DON'T install superboot. Cheers! Edited May 28, 2010 by igor_anta
Guest Spooke Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 Yeah but without the Recovery mode there is no way of getting to a Custom Rom? Unless it works through Pauls superboot root XD? Can someone test that? My guess is that it wont work as the Update moves the partitions around which the Recovery mode does not match..
Guest Paul Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 I'm confused here... this is signed with TEST KEYS and not RELEASE KEYS...?!? P
Guest marcox1987 Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 its okey! i wipe and restart and load chines junk...... The mode is avalible, but there is an "Android system recovery utility" and you can do a factory reset or wipe cache partition.

Guest Spooke Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 (edited) I'm confused here... this is signed with TEST KEYS and not RELEASE KEYS...?!? Oh and Paul could you tell me if I install this version will i be able to install the Recovery or will all be lost? Edited May 28, 2010 by Spooke
Guest tabor56 Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 so for a UK t-mobile user good to go yeah?
Guest hungary Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 I'm confused here... this is signed with TEST KEYS and not RELEASE KEYS...?!? P Yeah. Rom finished by T-Mobile tech staff from 2.1 Beta.
Guest Jan M Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 Yeah but without the Recovery mode there is no way of getting to a Custom Rom? Unless it works through Pauls superboot root XD? Can someone test that? My guess is that it wont work as the Update moves the partitions around which the Recovery mode does not match.. a few people mentioned that amon ra's recovery works fine...and even if it didn't you could always put on a custom img through fastboot.
Guest Spooke Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 (edited) Ok cool, so to update u just follow the December updates steps? Or Place the files on SD, do the update through recovery? Edited May 28, 2010 by Spooke
Guest Paul Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 I'm repacking this with root now. Released ROMs certainly should NOT have test keys. P
Guest Jan M Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 Ok cool, so to update u just follow the December updates steps? Or Place the files on SD, do the update through recovery? dec. update steps
Guest Richard_Arkless Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 Ok cool, so to update u just follow the December updates steps? Or Place the files on SD, do the update through recovery? Same process as the December update
