Guest ANDRE_Mobile Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 I have in the mean time posted the question on a few blogs, and it's been mentioned that there is copy-and-paste indeed, however, it is restricted. You can read some of this info from the blog: http://www.samsung-omnia.org/how-to-b57/co...th-the-i8000-... 1) Here are options. Click the desired message so it's selected > click Menu. You get options to delete, forward, insert, my text, save to drafts, spell check, close, message options, copy to sim, and select messages - pretty much what your looking for should be able to be done here. 2) On any text you can press and hold to get a pop-up menu that has a copy-and-paste option. It took me quite a while to figure this out. 3) Also, it may vary slightly on which sms you're using, a slight but similar variation seems to work on all. I had another look at the copy & paste thing: This is what I have come across: Regardless of whether you save to Draft or to SIM card the same features exist. 1) I have noticed that Copy shows up in the menu, only greyed out. Once you choose "select all", the copy function becomes available, however it is restricted. You can only select sms text into text only again being restricted, and not above the text box which contains number, date and time is still un-selectable (sms text). 2) My Text is not possible as the copy menu does not come up. One can not copy-and-paste like in the Omnia I900. It's too restricted.
