Hi everybody.. I've a 1.5 firmware with 2.1 Vanilla based r6 rom installed (http://android.modaco.com/content/t-mobile-pulse-pulse-modaco-com/308751/2-1-vanilla-based-on-r6/, without the update to fix vibrate) and everytime I try to apply this update I get a different error:

If I do it exactly as here says (rebooting, holding red+up vol+power button) it appears a Update Failed

Edit: Now the leds start blinking and no screen, no message at all

and if I try on settings, upgrade, the screen goes black and nothing happens.. after a while (20 mins) I took of the battery and (I suppose, where can I check it ?) it didn't applyed it..

Any help will be preciated

Re-Edit: Could be this due to the amonra recovery image?..

You should be able to enter the APN manually in the wireless settings.

Yeh I did, using the same settings as before but it's not working anymore, strange

Not for me - TMN A1 U8230 :)

With Swiss rom, 802.1x didn't work correctly. With this one, Hungarian it seems to work, but only monday I will know for shure.

Neither of these roms worked for me with:

Amon ra recover (can't find MISC etc.)

Superboot

and some thing went really wrong with a tmn_a1_Superboot.zip.

All is working fine:

gps

UMTS

magnetometer

gisroscope

wifi

camera

etc.

802.1x apparently is not working also in hungarian 2.1

:-(

superboot don't work with hungarian 2.1

with Mac OS X snowleopard adb don't work

but fastboot is working

I'm now with Pulse_OscillationROMR7B and T-Mobile_Pulse_21_B815 and the probs are quite the same

I hope a new release is near, because in the european universities 802.1x is standard wifi connection

A friend of mine is having a locked (stock 1.5) Pulse and he wants the official hungarian 2.1 ROM. My question is, will there be any problems because it's locked or should I just apply the december update and flash the hungarian ROM?

i cant use this update =(

it just fails? are you supposed to do somthing before updateing? like opening a lock or preping somthing,... i have no backup and nothing to lose ! =(
