i had the same problem that you have now

what you need to do is

just download it http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OD89HMT2

after that open grand prix, select pda file then detect

after that start downloading

when downloading completes un plug the wire

you have installed the new window

Hello. I can't detect the Phone! When I reset the device with the cable connected it loads windows. DOesn't stop on Samsung Omnia Image! Bootloader mode!!!

I did it like this:

Start GP 1.6

Connect device

click on detect without doing anything else

and I get this messange:

Select an image to download!!

Select an image to download!!

Select an image to download!!

If it loads windows then your phone is in "mass storage" mode like a flash disk. And if you have firewall running, it will stop any writing to that disk.

1st, disabled firewall & activesync, make it a stand alone PC temporarily

2nd, you have to ensure that you have CDMA modem driver installed and it loads when power on (with cable connected from Phone to PC). If you get samsung logo appear, it means your phone can go to boot mode, power it off.

3rd, Runs any ROM flasher (use only suitable ROM), the exe or using GP, click detect

4th, power on the omnia -or if you haven't power it off like on 2nd step just reset by punching reset hole next to power button.

5th, the flash process should go smoothly.
