Guest achugar Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 Hi, i love to listen music in my phone but the problem is that the touchplayer is very very slow (i have a lot of songs and albums) so i use others players. I will very please to use the touchplayer if it could run in a normal speed. For example, when you scroll in the artist view is unbearably slow, even more if you are playing a song while you are searching for other. There is any solution at the moment? or i will have to wait for samsung to fix this in any new rom (which i doubt it). Thanks

Delete some songs, or 3. Keep waiting for Samsung re-write a new Touch player with new core...(but I think that is not possible because of $$) Edited June 2, 2010 by Carlos Sun

Thanks i still hate touch player because it dose s crappy job with shuffle play and no custom imports of playlist. But to solve your issue and it being super slow, all you have to do is either A delete all your album art or B resize all the album art pictures to 100x100 and you will notice a huge increase in speed. It worked for me but still hate touch player. The reason its so slow in album list or song list is because it resizes the album art on the fly to fit beside the name in the list, which if you notice if you scroll down for a bit and then go back up there is no lagg. Guest achugar Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 Thanks both of you. "1. Overclock your Omnia II" is this safe in terms of hardware? It really can improve that much the performance of the phone? Thanks
Guest jebise Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 if you have the core set to auto then when touch player is launched it goes into performance mode anyways so you will not notice a difference.
Guest teccrom Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 The latest 6.5.3 rom JE3 the touchplayer feels much faster than earlier official roms. I have 6,6 Gb & 1200+ songs with high quality art on most, the all music and artist views are very usable now.
