/system/build.prop

# disable "Continuing Internet access will lead to traffic. Continue?"

ro.config.hw_new_wifitopdp=0

# disable ring delay

ring.delay=0

ro.telephony.Call_ring.delay=0

# time between known AP scans in seconds

wifi.supplicant_scan_interval=30

When I went into my build.prop the "continuing traffic" bit was already set at 0 and I was getting the message.So I changed my 0 to a 1 and it stopped it :)

And I put in fibesans customized build.prop and it got rid of my boot screen.All I had was a thick white line in the middle of a black screen. I also got an email from google welcoming me to my nexus 1 :)

jap

I flashed also a few hours ago.....even I don't have blue light icon like the poster say I think it is working...at least I think opening of the phone.apk is a little faster and displaying the caller is little faster.

Could someone be kind enough to upload it elsewhere? Requires registration with Cyanogen

Another way is to use "Autokiller" and keep the phone-service alive (lower oom) and set the settings to moderat,aggressiv or strict

Now, how raging would we be if we found out that this in the build.prop would magically upgrade us OTA to 2.2, with root, tether, swap, awesome-sauce framework and boot screen, and also somehow made the phone faster than the Nexus One (It's the first that popped into my head!)

Now, to try this out!

Nope, total seriousness. It makes your phone indestructible, 100000000GB/sec speeds, unlimited battery, Android 4.8, 3.45 GHz QuadCore processor, and 12 finger multi-touch - all from one line of code.

Lulz!

add "ro.godmode=1" to your build.prop

No longer required if you are using LauncherPro 0.6.0 or higher.

LauncherPro 0.6.0 gives you only 2TB of extra storage. My tweak gives you 4TB.

But I've discovered a new hack

ro.chuck.norris=1

<= enables duke nukem forever-mod!

There are some issues with pop-ups when theming vanilla ROM's

To fix the pop-ups you need to edit the build.prop.

Open build.prop. Go to ro.config.PopupTwink=true and change it to ro.config.PopupTwink=false. That's it ;).
