Samsung Omnia2 with MN7.4.3 override Status Bar

Hi,

i am running MN7 on my Samsung i8000 in landscape mode - everything works fine. Only the status bar (the first line on the top with information of battery, PIN etc.) is always present and overrides my navigation screen. So some information of MN7 is missing.

Does anybody know how to bring MN7 into the foreground? Or how to delete the Status bar (Samsung told me that it is not possible!)?
