Sound too loud after ROM upgrade...

G'day. :(

I just upgraded to the E1 release of 6.5.3 from 6.5 [which I flashed to from 6.1 last year], and found the update has fixed quite a lot of the little annoyances I had with the earlier release. :(

However, I find that I now cannot make the sound volume enough if I want to play things quietly. In the old release, I could set the phone and player volume independently, giving me finer control of sound levels. What are my options?

Any help appreciated; cheers.
