Guest Vonacid Posted June 23, 2010 Report Posted June 23, 2010 Hi, How do you get into the terminal with the fake flash? I think that the use of the power button is better as well. Thanks! Yeah, actually i also prefer to use oC's 1st method, so that i can permanently change the rom to the power button. But i need to know what kind of Editor i can use to edit the "bravo-keypad.kl", becoz i've trid juz by using MSwords, but when i try to flash, it says verification fails. I'm sure using MSword is not the right way, juz that i'm too noobish to give it a try >.<"
Guest Vonacid Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 Aww.... i hope oC will be back soon~ i so miss the A2SD on his rom~!! hehe ;)
Guest oclock Posted June 26, 2010 Report Posted June 26, 2010 6-oC-AM is available. I created a new thread here, because this thread was originally about a rooted update with SW version 1.23. But in the meantime a lot has changed and deserves in my opinion a new thread: http://android.modaco.com/content/htc-desi...ock-custom-rom/ Please continue discussing there.

Guest ALouie Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 @oclock What is this? Replaced /system/etc/firmware/fw_bcm4329_ap.bin with the one from HTC Evo 4g to make wifi tethering work meaning no need to install wifi tethering app? Just like froyo, it's there by default?
Guest Jagdish Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 No, it means Wifi tethering now works, before you had to create a new folder called wifi tether with this file planted inside...

Using a good old Win XP solved my issue. rgds Andi
