Orange UK handset (network-locked) and my phone is locked with the "Contact Provider" message, back to the old radio for now...

As far as I know my phone is locked to T-Mobile (it is T-Mobile Branded) and it works fine for me. Improved reception, no GPS reboot bug e.t.c

Key, thanks! Will try it :(

Ok, uploading now!

Can you post how to enable A2SD on the original ROM rather than posting a full ROM (or an update.zip just for A2SD). Is there more to it than copying the relevant scripts to /etc/init.d ?

I dunno, I made this rom with one of the kitchens from XDA. That makes me sound really noobish! :(

It was just easier than doing it by hand, just hit 1, 2, 6, 7 then 99!

lol

@42turkeys, Will the APPS2SD version include dalvik-cache on SD?

I dunno, you tell me! I just used the 'Enable A2SD' option in the kitchen.

A2SD Done!

...but not working.

There's no symlinks in /system/sd and no init.d directory in /system/etc so no a2sd?

Using a2sd on causes a reboot loop next boot :(

I've installed the rom on my Hero, and it is STABLE and Very fast!

The only problem is for the keyboard, morelocale doesn't seems to work very well, i'm French, there is no AZERTY keyboard, and after intsalling morelocale and rebooting the phone, I was unable to write anything with the keyboard, so I had to set the phone to English local.. That's the only problem with non-English and Chinise people with this ROM

Hello again, one question:

It´s necessary to do the sd partition to install this rom? I still conserve the original rom 1.5 and i never flash a new rom.

Thanks!!!

You mention it has busy box - so does this also include ssh daemon?

I don't think so.

If you're talking about a2sd then that doesn't work.
