As topic, did anybody tried (and succeeded) in flashing the Eboot file along with the PDA to the I8000L phone?

Thanks, please let me know as I'd love to do the same to mine (Argentinian one)

i did it, you can flash Eboot+PDA+CSC(you'll lose the automatic network settings) safely, i've JE3 version.

Flash Phone part sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, i made tests and i believe that it depends on frquency that is using your carrier in your area, i recommend keep your Phone part untouched. I've using IJ1 version.

If you want upgrade you Phone part, you should do it using versions that belong to I8000L. I've a topic where i publish every new phone part for this version, just compare if your current version is old or if it's ok.

Regarding CSC, you will have enter manually the network settings to get 3G connection.

I have a brazilian I8000L and have everything updated except CSC (I updated it then reverted afterwards) that only has network information that doesn't affect on the phone performance and I suggest you to leave it as is. You only need to update CSC if you're going original firmware (MST). If you are using a custom nb0, it isn't necessary.

As stated above, you need to know the frequency that your operator works and then decide if it isn't going to affect you.
