Voip on Samsung I8000

Hello,

I have installed WM6VoIPFull.cab and somewhere on this forum it says you need the SIP COnfig Tool program, but on that web site (See tools and trick and cabs) download is impossible.

Who is using VOIP on his samsung I8000 with the standard dialer. Who can help me to get it working?

First off all, record your phone number to your sip provider. Each sip provider has its own way to record your phone number. I use Jumblo and I have already done it before. Now open _setup.xml

SIPPROVIDERNAME : Sizin sip şirketinizin adı, herhangi birşeyde yazabilirisiniz. Ben jumblo yazıyorum / it’s your sip provider company name, You can write anything you want, I wrote Jumblo

USERNAME : Sizin kullanıcı adınız / Your username

PASSWORD : Şifreniz / Your password

CELLPHONENUMBER : Görünmesini istediğiniz telefon numaranız / Your phone number that you want people to see

SIPADRESS : Sip sunucunuzun adresi benim için sip.jumblo.com / Your sip server adress, ex. sip.jumblo.com for me

Dosyanızı kaydedin ve makecab.bat dosyasını çalıştırın, oluşan cab dosyasını cihazınıza atın ve kurun / Save the file and run makecab.bat, copy the created cab file to your pda and install it

NOT: Cihazınızın işletim sisteminin MSVoIP’i desteklemesi lazım, kurulu değilse WM6VoIP.CAB kurun

Note: Your pda’s OS must support MSVoIP, if it doesn’t support, install WM6VoIP.CAB

But I recommend PortSIP for VoIP calls which supports G.729 codec (MSVoIP doesn't!)

You have to use a headset to prevent sound echo, or you can reroute i8000's audio subsystem to earspeaker (That's why I love i8000 a lot)

How can I get the sound from the earpiece instead of the back speaker?
