Hi, just a question, i realised the JD1 ROM Samsung widgetplus Today Screen's widgets don't reload when they move to another widget screen.

However i've just flashed my phone to JC4 Singapore ROM and realise the widgets reloads everytime i switch to another page.

Take AccuWeather widget as an example, in the JD1 ROM it takes like 3s to load, while the Singapore ROM take like 5-6s to load.

So is there anyway to get rid of this load time? Or it's totally dependent on the ROM and unable to change unless flashing another ROM.

Just a random questions, what's your favourite Today Screen?

EDIT: Any WM 6.5 ROMs out there doesn't have widget reloads after you switch pages?

I like samsung today too, the way that they view new messages before replying, but it doesn't shows weather, that sucks.

Guess nothing is perfect.

EDIT: Edited the thread, now i'm wondering is there and WM 6.5 ROM out there without widgets reloading after every page you switch?

I tried installing JD1 Widget Plus Homescreen on HK JC2 rom and it did work, it worked so smoothly that you wouldn't see any lags and clunkiness when opening up and closing down programmes (for example, on HZHIL2 rom, everytime I open up then close down Wireless Manager thru large indicators, it takes about 3 seconds to shut. In Addition to that, when it closes, about a quarter of the homescreen would show up before 1.5 seconds later the other 3 quarters of the homescreen loads up. it happens on HZHJC2 widget homescreen too but the lag is much shorter and happens to fewer widgets and apps. Obviously there's no lag with JD1 WidgetPlus). And more to that, you get a nice smooth transitional effect when swiping between different homescreens.

but the only problem I had was, when you install JD1 or any WM6.5.3 Widget Plus homescreen on WM6.5, ie. HZHJC2, the homescreen is misaligned (You see a huge space between the bottom taskbar and the wallpaper). So I ended up reverting back to JC2 Widget Plus Homescreen and the whole thing cost me 20mb of free main Storage.

now I am using JE2 (WM6.5) homescreen (another 10mb of free ROM gone), it's much better than any other roms' Widgetplus in terms of responding to finger touches, but the lag and clunkiness are still there.

So basically majority of the WM 6.5 ROMs has Widgets reloading everytime the widget screen changes.

Geez that kinda sucked, i like WM 6.5 roms big widget plus today screen. but the lag just kills it.

WM 6.5.3 widget plus today is perfect, but it's rather small.

WM 6.5.3 has a good TouchPlayer which i like but not in WM 6.5,

WM 6.5 is able to set default keyboard.

Geez if only Samsung would put all the good stuffs into one perfect solid ROM.
