hay wel i got this app of market is call flashnotify or flash notify it flashes the lower keys and the screen at same time every 5 sec for sms and miss calls.

Thanks thats a useful app :) Although it flashes the screen as well as flashing the buttons which wastes a bit more battery

Also going to attach MusicMod 1.6 which I've removed the HDPI images, optimized the pngs and zipaligned. Got it to half it's size and memory usage should be lower.

These aren't flashable zips. You need to extract and push to the phone using ADB or copy to your SD card and use Root Explorer to move them to /system/app/ or even use terminal if you know what you're doing :)

Is MusicMod 1.6 included in FLB v1.31 ?

The change log said you included a modified T-Mobile Music player, but the one I briefly saw in the official T-Mobile UK 2.1 update doesn't look like the player in v1.31

If it is MusicMod 1.6, is it the optimized one you mentioned ?

Whatever the player, is it patched for the headset bug ?

I've updated to the latest ROM today, because i had problems with the GMAIL app, when i was adding addresses the list does not appeared with my cocntacts (1.2).

Now i have two problems, first of all the sim apllication launcher is missing again, and the second is that i cannot add mp3 ring and notification tones either with astro nor with OI file manager.

Could you please check those ?

Sorry, forgot to mention that... atm I'm on UK 2.1, before that I was on TRE with FLB 1.2, and still had the same problem, I guess it might be a provider (I'm on T-Mo) or sms-card related?

nope it seems to be intermittent, and of course you dont always know when you've missed a text so its hard to know.

it was suggested it was linked to low memory, which would make sense i suppose, with the SMS service auto-killed, but its very hard to know for sure

7) Problem with the rom in detail:

Touchscreen has died. :D It just won't react. The only recent thing I've done is use Epic's key mod, and the screen worked after that. It just seems quite random. It used to just be the lockscreen that worked until a reboot, and now nothing works...

I have no Nandroids, and I really don't want to reinstall everything again.

Help?

I can't think of anything that would even cause your touchscreen to stop working. The only thing you can do realistically is make a backup of your phone in recovery then wipe and install again.

i was on 1.31 .lol i turned jit on not knowing wat it was so did a nan restore to 1.2. wow I had forgoten how fast 1.2 was so desided to stay on 1.2 till 1.31 speeds up a bit i love the roms they are the best .......i hate the booting image of 1.2 huewie logo ....i liked the 1.31 booting image alot is there anyway of getting it for 1.2?

Use adb or install a root file manager like Root Explorer. Astro won't be able to write the file as system is read only.

Easiest way is through adb:

adb remount

adb push bootanimation.zip /system/media/[/code]

(OK I'll bite) OI! what's wrong with Kent?!?!

Yeah I know I had an issue with fancy widget not recognising Ashford, but that was in actual fact Google's problem in so much that their weather api initially recognises Ashford as "Ashford, Kent" but subsequent weather calls to "Ashford, Kent" (instead of just "Ashford") fail... Fix here

Anyway FLB working fine here in Ashford!!

OK i was being flippant, but it was just particularly annoying when travelling to an interview for this issue to crop up. A mate from Bahrain also tried to get hold of me while he was in england but couldn't because the pulse wouldn't connect the call. I'm just looking forward for the 3rd interview today to be over, and i can reflash everything. I'm thinking UK2.1+ FLB 1.31.

NUpdate on my touchscreen fail - I just wiped and did nothing else (no new flashes) and nothing. No touchscreen. Now to try reflashing FLB (1.2)

Which means trying to access my Mac drive - I get occasional keyboard problems on my Hackintosh. And my Desktop folder is giving me "No access" Guess where my FLB Mod .zip is?

I also have problem with the waiting call indication, it was working properly on 1.2 TRE

Another issue is tha the Fancy widget is not as stable as it was before the clock and the forecast stopped workink 2 times today, a had to reboot the phone to get it working again

And I also miss the SIM application laucher icon
