[ROM] FLB-Mod 1 (Based on Android 2.1)

FLB 1.3 is one of the best ROMS, in the beginning I had some random reboots but after 10 times, everything is working perfect.

PS: Boot Animation is perfect...please Do not change it in next versions.

PS: Despite the fact that you are a perfect developer your designing skills are not the best :D :D ;)

One last question where is the Nexus live wallpaper in 1.3?? I cannot find it...

Reinstalling FLB does nothing - Time to reinstall Tre...

EDIT - Reinstalling Tre fails also - still no touchscreen - I'm a bit worried now...

I guess your only hope is to apply the official Tre or UK updates and then wipe and flash a custom rom. That mean losing all the data unfortunately ;)

I find it more easier to mange groups and adding contacts to groups

I wiped - No touchscreen

I re-flashed FLB 1.2 - No touchscreen

I re-flashed Tre 2.1 - No touchscreen...

Another issue is tha the Fancy widget is not as stable as it was before the clock and the forecast stopped workink 2 times today, a had to reboot the phone to get it working again

You don't have to reboot for that, just do a manual refresh from the config menu and it will be fine.

That was the first to try the clock was stopped also

After the manual refresh i've removed the widget from the homescreen and put it back again, than it was displaying the right time and weather. After a while it stopped again. When I realised that I've rebooted the phone now it's working properly for now

Oh now I see. That has been missing from the 2.1 dialer in the Pulse ROMs. I did try to use the stock dialer but it caused some issues. Blame Huawei for that.

This rom is fantastic! Thanks flibblesan. Much faster and even more stable than the 1.5 one I was running before (I think it was Paul's r1.7 vanilla rom). But I'm really missing contact groups, that's the only issue I have with it. What issues were there with the stock dialer? Is there an alternative that can be installed? I'm not a fan of the T-MO UK dialer but it did seem to work with groups which it never used to on stock 1.5.

I used to use it - HTC IME off XDA Developers. Make sure it's the low res version - and you're flying high!

It just seems stuck in the TouchPal setting.

Within the TouchPal settings I;

disabled sound on press

enabled drag down symbols

that's it

When I'm on the desktop and press the menu-button a the keyboard pops-up.

Pressing the left bottom key will pop-up the TouchPal settings screen also.

I just checked my dads Pulse and he has the same issue. Installed FLB 1.31 just yesterday an he does even less with settings on his Pulse.

forget about the CHT rom and join the partttyyy

flibbie's Mod is faster and much more stable on my cht8000

Have you enabled call waiting?

It is enabled (actually, it's a system [i mean network] parameter, never been touched). The call comes in, but there's no vibrating and/or sound to notify me about the new incoming call. Used to be in v1.2...

Flib mate, two things:

1. Exactly what digital clock widget are you using?

2. Me and others have experienced Fancy Widget not updating... Now I was searching the Market for a digital clock widget (found many), and in one's (DigiClock Widget) description I've found this: "IF STOPS UPDATING, CHECK IF A TASK MANAGER IS KILLING IT!". So the root of the problems with FancyWidget after all is our good old memory issue :D
