Guest primo007 Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 Hmm, odd. Trying again, but this time without wiping Dalvik first, I'll only wipe it after the first boot. Oh, and I've always got my dalvik on internal phone memory, if that makes any difference. Edit: Nope, no luck, still FC-palooza I don't know if it matters, but I'm on the official uk 2.1 update.
Guest thedarkduke Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 Hi I can't find 'data synchronization' in settings too, and the su command says: permission denied :-( Same to me, seems that Superuser Permission APK is missing too Switched back to 1.31 I hope this could be fixed soon
Guest mr.a Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 is it just me or is "accounts& sync " option missing from the the settings??
Guest Richard van Nieuwenhuizen Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 Trying to update but it fails. Did the Dalvik move to internal. Started ClockworkMod Pointed to the flb_1.4.zip And came back with an error; E:failure at line 5: copy_dir PACKAGE:data DATA: Installation aborted

Guest biron_w Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 What do you put into the terminal to move cache back to phone memory? Bit confused what to do to flash 1.4. Is it move dalvik back to phone memory, flash then wipe dalvik cache after first boot?Or move dalvik, wipe dalvik and then flash?

Guest flip360 Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 (edited) i just added AccountAndSyncSettings to the ROM from flb 1.2 and voila :D Acount and Sync Setting are back Edited August 16, 2010 by flip360
Guest Daz555 Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 Open terminal. Type su a2sd check This will check status for you and also reveals the command you need to move it back to internal storage: a2sd nocache
Guest bbevan Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 Accounts and Sync missing for me to, other than that the ROM is looking good :D Updated to TMob UK 2.1 then full wipe and FLB 1.4
Guest craigb244 Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 installed 1.4... its got no root access :D restored back to 1.3.1 :D
Guest primo007 Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 I put AccountAndSyncSettings.apk from 1.31 in system/app and now I have the missing item in settings. I have to mention that this rom boots up really quickly!
Guest bbevan Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 Trying to restore my apps from Titanium Backup and it keeps getting forced out memory, batch restore is impossible :D
Guest flash2004 Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 @Fibblesan I have tried Launcherpro, ADW and stock launcher, and have to say that the stock launcher is the best in terms of speed, stability and overall usability. Can you include it as default and maybe provide flashable updates for ADW & launcherpro ?
Guest Delta1292 Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 would it be possible to create a script in the FLB custom scripts that when run will flash a bootanimation.zip which had been put onto the SD card instead of having to use a pc and adb, im only asking because i now have limited access to a computer (my local library) and want to be able to use a custom boot animation?

Guest Delta1292 Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 ah right ok, another noobish question - where is the boot animation stored?
Guest jekin77 Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 @Fibblesan what do you think about HTC-Ime keyboard ? maybe it's possible to replace the TouchPal with this one. (normal installation of HTC_IME mod brought nothing, the standard keyboard is TouchPal, and i have not found the way to change it) more info on xda-developers http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=624416 about the way- mod 1.4 the best one , i miss only this HTC_IME keyboard app
Guest MuhaJR Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 installed 1.4... its got no root access :D restored back to 1.3.1 :D That can be easily fixed... :-)

Hell, it's still on the first page! /RANT OFF. You can only use the low-res version, and I take it you have went to "Settings" then "Language and Keyboard" and ticked the HTC_IME Mod? Then tap-hold a text box, select "Input Method" and hit HTC_IME Mod. :D
Guest Willz Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 Okay I'm thinking of upgrading to v1.4. I lately updated to the UK 2.1, then flashed the ROM you released in a separate thread. Though I'm wondering if I want to upgrade to v1.4, should I just wipe everything then flash it?

Guest Willz Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 ah. Okay then. I'm not even on 1.31 I don't think. Apparently I'm on 2.1 CCR for Pulse r2. :/ Hope the later versions get better. v1.0 is the best one. :D
