That's the maximum and there is no way to increase it afaik. Using setCPU, you can force it to stay at 528Mhz, where as usually it scales lower to save power at the cost of less performance afaik

Fibblesan - Will you be doing a version that has dalvik-cache(or whatever it is) moved to the SD card so A2SD works properly? I have no idea how to get ADB working and I think maybe a few other people won't know either.

I had no idea how to use it as well, but at least for this it's a piece of cake :( Just google "ADB for noob xda" and you'll find answers. Also go to the Oscillation ROM page and there's a link that explains how to manipulate the apps2sd options. Just give it a shot, it's easy ;) Cheers!

I did this, but after a restart of the phone. dalvik is back to sd and requires a repair again.

Any idea?

Edit: i found out, that there are three Scripts in Beta4 (in system/etc/init.d) which are not in Beta3 ! Could this be the problem with dalvik cache???

Edit2:I deleted them (02cachedalvikcache, 40a2sd, 99complete), a2sd working fine now.

I deleted these three files and beta4 is working for me now. Thanks.

Edit: After I removed these three files I had to run "a2sd repair" from adb shell and then reboot.

I have a problem with apps2sd , when i am going to make an ext2, ext3 partion , there is an error

run apps2sd in adb,

When i am running in adb , it says external partition not found

and when i run apps2sd check it says

No ext partition or partition not at

/dev/block/mmcblk0p2.

An ext2, ext3, or ext4 partition must

exists on /dev/block/mmcblk0p2.

Reboot phone into recovery and create

an ext2, ext3, or ext4 partition.

Cleaning up...

PS: How can we delete these 3 files ?? in init.d??

Install RootExlorer

Click the button in the right up corner of the RootExplorer to enable "mount R/O"

Browse RootExplorer to the location mentioned in above post

Long hold on the files when you find them and just press delete ;)

That's all

I´m having problem with the GPS. After a while the GPS stops recieving signals. If I run "GPS test" by Chartcross it stops updating after a while. Same thing with Trapster and Google maps. Tried to switch the GPS off and on but no signal. Restart solves the problem for a while. I dont know if it has something with that the screen goes off. Is there som kind of powersave feature on the GPS? Tried both beta3 and beta4 with same result. It´s working if I run the original 1.5.

Hi I second that, I have this with all GPS applications (IGO8, Navigon, GoogleNav, Trapster). I need to reboot the

device in order to get it running again. I loose the signal after approx 30 minutes of use. Quite annoying if

you rely on satnav. Probably I'll go back to 1.5, since satnav is a requirement for me. Not tried a different

2.1 Rom, but I guess they all suffer the same problem.

Hi guys,

you think that GPS issue can fixed by the custom ROMS developer or maybe a bug that will never be fixed?

My feeling says it is a kernel problem, so probably needs to be addressed by Huawei. Would be great

if we could report this somewhere at Huawei.

Ok I tried something new. I have terrible internet connection in the car, so I disabled

A-GPS. So far GPS keeps working for me, but it's too early to tell. Maybe others could

try this as well, maybe it is a solution.
