[ROM] FLB-Mod 1 (Based on Android 2.1)

Hi, I recently upgraded to oscillation ROM from 1.5 and by the looks of it that ROM is old and the thread is not very active so i wanted to upgrade to this ROM

can you tell me what to do to get to this ROM from oscillation

will i ave to wipe all my data again?

Yes you need to wipe all and install from the scratch

Hi,

I upgraded from version 3 to 5 today, with full wipe.

In version 3 I had messages from time to time that some processes do not respond (acore and launcherpro most of the time). Then I clicked "wait" and everything was well.

Now in version 5 I get messages that .acore was forced to close, and every task that is open closes.

I also had 2 reboots already .

What could be the reason for these errors? Is my SDcard too slow?

Anyway version 5 is a bit faster than version 3 for me.

fibblesan is there a way to move some apps from \system\app to \data\app ?

I would like to try your rom over my 1.5.

I´m from Argentina and I´m not able to flash with Hungarian one but I tried some 2.1 that more or less had worked.

maybe you can give me a quick how to.

Any other CHT8000 users using this ROM? Does your camera work? Mine doesn't. :D But the camera does work with the original Hungarian update. :lol:

BTW, the HwIME.apk for Chinese handwriting recognition works fine with this ROM. :D

So if any of the guys here are Chinese and want FLB-ROM with better Chinese support head on over to HiAPK. Just excuse the rather dodgy copy of Rootexplorer they are so keen to add to my ROM :lol:

Because of Huawei, the Pluse default supports Chinese.So we only use the Chines local SIM card, the Pluse auto display Chinese.

I am also wondering, how can I find out exactly what language support Android has? I'd like to make a list of the supported language in my ROM for the benefit of users.

From the next release I'll update the topic title.

Beta versions of the ROM really will need wiping until the final version. Beta 5 has a lot of system file changes which means you must do a full wipe if you want to avoid a trip to force close city.

Let me get this right... instead of pulse, it would say FLB-MOD, instead of gray light, there would be blue?

Do you want some kind of logo or just FLB-MOD writing?

Very difficult to do and would require some work. It would be nice if somebody (1.5 user) could produce their own ROM based upon mine for those users.

So - now you have custom boot image... Then here comes my question: when is the new (maybe some sort of final?) version is out? :)

(_{I don't want to be too impatient though just curious and I actually find beta5.1 to be slower than beta3 was... and not much into 'downgrading' if you know what I1m sayin'} :D)

I just have first phone freeze on 5.1 ROM

Small warning. Please don't update Darktremor Apps2SD for the time being. There is a bug which is affecting my ROM and a few others. If you use this version and move dalvik cache to SD then you will have serious problems. I've let the author know and I'm waiting for feedback.

Based on what I can see so far the latest version is unable to mount the /data partition on boot which results in dalvik-vm not being able to find it's cache, and causes a crap load of force closes and a very slow boot.

I've reported the bug.
