Guest Azurren Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Wrong My bluetooth is working on every FLB ROM and I never had any issues with it Oh no I think I know what does and does not work on my device  Bluetooth had never worked on any flb rom that I have installed in my device
Guest niko1986 Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 My bluetooth hasn't worked for ages, since updating my ROM to Pauls 1.5 v1.7. Still isn't working on 2.1. Plus I didnt realise there was a known issue with SMS messages with the hungarian 2.1 update. I'm experiencing it running FLB beta 4 (extinct version  ) It been fixed in the newer versions or is it still there?
Guest Simon O Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 please can anyone answer my question ? I don't have any bluetooth devices.
Guest goce.nakov Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 I don't have any bluetooth devices. I am constantly using bluetooth on my Mac at work,on my notebook at home and about 4 days ago I transferred VUVUZELA ring tone from my colleague Nokia

(at least here ) I was wondering why some heavy cpu usage games like Raging Thunder 2 gets kicked out memory after a feel seconds of gameplay.. ? In Eclair I mean... Raging Thunder 2 isn't meant for our devices. We have too little memory.
Guest MarcusHenrique Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Raging Thunder 2 isn't meant for our devices. We have too little memory. But in 1.5 it runs allright, a bit laggy, but playable!
Guest Simon O Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 But in 1.5 it runs allright, a bit laggy, but playable! We have less free memory in 2.1
Guest MarcusHenrique Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 (edited) We have less free memory in 2.1 :D Hm.. I thought so... I hope 2.2 will free more memory for us  Edited June 30, 2010 by MarcusHenrique
Guest Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Audio Manager Pro Will it really help? I can't get it from market. Only Audio Manager Widget available. Could you upload it somewhere please?
Guest JingleManSweep Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 When I was using FLB (upto the latest version), I've had no problems with Bluetooth. It works with file transfers between other non-Android phones, file transfers between computer and phone and also Headset and A2DP profiles. Definitely nothing wrong with the ROM in this respect.
Guest roozor Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Hi Guys, Total android noob, i managed to install 2.1, then 2.1 flb. I must say it's completely changed my phone, the difference in speed is incredible to 1.5. I actually prefer my pulse with 2.1 to my old iphone 3g. I think i'm completely converted now! I do have one problem. My music player when loading up for the first time, what song i press it will randomly play a different one but after that it will be fine. Also i installed the A2SD version of this rom, but i've yet to get it to work.. i think. I wiped my sd card and formatted with the bootloader thing. It's an 8gb card, so swap 0, 1gb ext then everything else for storage. Whenever i install apps it seems to go normal, i don't get the choice to install on the card. Am i doing something wrong? Probs to FLB! Alex

Probs to FLB! Alex Nope, no options come up for where to store the apps - they automatically go to the SD card (unless there are problems (SD card not in, partition lost, nuclear war)). And I'm glad we converted you to the Dark Side. Unless you had the black iPhone, in which case, welcome to the Better Dark Side. We have huge cookies! Although did you try jailbreaking your iPhone? Makes it miles better!

How can i tell if the apps are being stored properly by A2SD?

My friends normal iphones were so lame in comparison! How can i tell if the apps are being stored properly by A2SD? You have linux? If so, plug in the phone and mount the SD card, and if it works right, two "drives" pop up, browse the one with the smallest size, and look for your apps. When I had Ubuntu installed that worked. Otherwise, well I'll be thinking. (There'll be one super easy way but I'm akward.) FLB - I take it the JIT and font .zips are safe to flash? Edited June 30, 2010 by DanWilson

Install RootExplorer on your phone and browse to "data/app", If you see your aps in there then it is working
Guest DanWilson Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Install RootExplorer on your phone and browse to "data/app", If you see your aps in there then it is working Isn't that where all apps are normally stored? I thought A2SD symlinked /system/sd to /data/app? So try browsing to /data/app then /system/sd (or /system/sdcard) and comparing whats there. And JIT pretty much breaks my phone, it runs so slow and makes acore crash. Oh well, at least I didn't need to reflash (I've no recent nandroids)

Guest whackster Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 (edited) no, data is on data partition (which is also on the internal memory), to check if a2sd works either through a terminal or through adb, type a2sd check and look at the output. it should show the free space (the size of the ext partition you created) if it is symlinked to the ext partition, so I guess that should be a quick way to make sure it works, but you have to have Root Explorer. Edited June 30, 2010 by whackster
Guest il_cholo Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 system/app is on the phone memory data/app is on the sd card (up at the Root explorer you will see size of you partition and size of used space) agree with you, always I do that and works
Guest DanWilson Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 whackster is right. The /data/app is on the phone, A2SD adds the ext partition to the data partition / makes the SD card partition the data partition. I don't know how A2SD works but I know that if I took the SD card out and installed some apps, they'd be on /data/app .
Guest goce.nakov Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 no, data is on data partition (which is also on the internal memory), to check if a2sd works either through a terminal or through adb, type a2sd check and look at the output are you saying that I have 512MB internal memory??? WOW then I have some strange kind of Pulse. are you wanna bet??
Guest DanWilson Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 are you saying that I have 512MB internal memory??? WOW then I have some strange kind of Pulse. are you wanna bet?? Take out the SD card, check again, I win. (BTW - It's the Pulse Plus!)
Guest goce.nakov Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Take out the SD card, check again, I win. (BTW - It's the Pulse Plus!) Ok once again ....and this is a quote from Paul some back ago when I asked how I can be sure that a2sd is working: Paul-Install RootExplorer and browse to data/app and if you see that app is installed there and up in RootExplorer you see your partition minus space for installed app's, then it is working End of quote.
