Guest Simon O Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 flibblesan can you change the icons and use another more beautiful(3d icons)?? It's something I'd like to do. Currently I'm using icons from Froyo but if I find a nice looking icon set then I'll swap them.
Guest Simon O Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 Flibble - have you managed to fix it so you there isn't any screen freezes with the full ROM? They really are quite annoying :) I've not had any screen freezes yet so far.
Guest biron_w Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 I've not had any screen freezes yet so far. Excellent! I'm sick of having to take my battery out whenever I try and browse something on the internet.
Guest twics Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 (edited) Thats normal for ADW. What do you have freezing on the phone? When backing out of settings such as coming from wifi/ sound&display/ and so on, also when I pressed the menu button on home screens the buttons that pop up from the bottom which allow you to change wallpaper/settings/notifications etc was not responding, but Iv rebooted since then and all seems ok now. Also looking forward to you and Bears new Rom. Once again great Rom mate thanks. Edit> pulled battery about three to four times from freezing before Rom settled down. Edited July 8, 2010 by twics

Oh I know what you mean. the black screen waiting for launcher to come back up? That should be cut down a lot if not fixed.
Guest AnDroidNooB Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 quck question, does this MOD receive all incoming text messages instantly? and does this MOD have vibration? in other words whats wrong with this MOD?
Guest Azurren Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 Perhaps you could make a "Manual Kitchen" for your next rom releases. Either have different frameworks in a patch-like zip (Like with launcher pro) or several rom choices with different frameworks built in :) I donno about other people but I really like some of the custom frameworks but don't want to go through the hassle of installing them
Guest DavidFrog Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 Hello maybe, and probably, already asked question but... what about multitouch ? the Screen is unable to do that ? thanks ! david
Guest Azurren Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 Hello maybe, and probably, already asked question but... what about multitouch ? the Screen is unable to do that ? thanks ! david It can, maybe. Bobo has tried with some promising results. He's waiting for the kernel source before he can continue

Guest SonMauri Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 When the source is finally on the hand of these great developers A LOT, really A LOT of things are going to happen here ^^
Guest IceXcube84 Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 This sensitive rotation is very irritating. Is there a fix so it will be like it was in 1.5?
Guest Simon O Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 (edited) This sensitive rotation is very irritating. Is there a fix so it will be like it was in 1.5? it's slightly less sensitive now thanks to a new kernel. Still not totally perfect but I can put the phone onto a table and not have the screen rotate!* *sometimes it does but only when I put the phone down quickly. If I put the phone down a bit slower and gentle then the screen doesn't rotate. And once it's down it won't rotate. Edited July 8, 2010 by flibblesan

Turn off in ADW config menu :) If it is too sensitive, in recovery menu wipe-> clear screen rotation whatever thing (I dont remember its exact name) Edited July 8, 2010 by gusthy

Guest giabbe1 Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 hey guys, did u notice worse battery performances with v1.0 Beta 5 upgrade 1? my battery used to last for around 3 days (normal use) with beta 3, but since I upgraded to this version my battery barely reaches one day (with the same usage pattern as before)...

Hello all, quoting giabbe1 I've noticed that in OS Monitor, under Misc tab, the CPU frequency range is reported as 122880-528000Mhz and the scaling range is reported as 245760-528000Mhz. Obserivng that page the minimun current frequency is always 245760, not lower. Is it possible to set the scaling range to 122880-528000Mhz ? I think it could be better for battery duration. Ciao! Petz
Guest tabor56 Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 after installing this ROM i cant get the Wifi to work at all, i usually have problems but it hasnt connected once to my router. anyone else have this problem?
