I've added a poll. Make a choice and decide on the future of the launcher!

Can i install this from Tre 2.1 ROM or i need to go back to Hungarian ROM???

Oh yeah! I stress tested it pretty good :) :D Even played FIFA 10 from EA
and it's playable :P

An idea. Remove the 'ro.HOME_APP_ADJ=1' command from all the local.prop files inside /system/cust and see if that cuts the FC's down. I've got a feeling these are memory related and that command won't help if ADW is being kept in memory all the time.

ADW always even if it's buggy :)

You can install from the Tre rom. Install recovery and you'll be good to go :)

I'm hoping it gets better. It ran quicker on earlier FLB roms. Just not so happy today :D

Best before but you can do it after then run a2sd install from the terminal app.

Hmm. I've noticed that ADW does sometimes unload. So the launcher is killed when the last bit of memory is needed.

Yep, that's what is happening. I need to try and get the memory usage down a little. Something is causing 1.0 to be using a little more ram that older versions.

Is there a specific way to enable Apps2sd?

I have partitioned my SD-card, but it keeps installing my apps on my internal storage instead of the sd-card.

Awesome Rom btw!

My device-state if it helps:

device_state.txt

Open terminal then do these:

su
a2sd check[/code]

it will tell you if a2sd is set correctly. If anything is not using SD then you can do a2sd repair or the other commands listed in the output.

It seems ok. The android memory management is working correctly.

Now I'm getting this

Alrighty, thanks,

It says it runs correctly, hope it will :)

It's normal that it does use some internal storage, right?

Try changing the dalvik heap size. Currently it'll be set low (something a2sd does..).

a2sd largeheap

will set it to 24mb

currently it'll be on smallheap which is 16mb

smallheap

Sets the Dalvik heap size to 16mb

largeheap

Sets the Dalvik heap size to 24mb

jumboheap

Sets the Dalvik heap size to 32mb

Done :)

I'm going to set this to 24mb by default. Easy enough to do. I'll update the roms and re-upload. Anybody that wants to switch can do so easily through the terminal.

I've changed the fingerprint back to the older one I was using in previous FLB mods. Uploaded rom is updated. Current users can just download again and flash without wiping or push the build.prop to the phone. Current users will have to wait 24 hours before the market updates.

I just installed the FLB V1 on my U8230.

Everything works except the 3G. (France) :)

I had no problem with the v1.0 beta 5.1update1 - 28th June 2010.

Back in beta 5.1 or is there a solution Flibble?

Anyway congratulations to you and your team for this fantastic job! :D

Charging the phone now. Gonna mess with it tomorrow. Haven't got any FC's for some time now 4-5 hours. This rom is a real performance booster so I wouldn't mind an occasional FC :)
