@flibblesan... Please don't be that mad to the people that are saying things about something they don't understand, don't let few comments to knock u off. U should know that most of us are VERY PLEASED with ur rom and are very happy to have a developer like u.

A person I know has the pulse with the basic version of android that it comes (1.5 i think) and comparing mine, with ur rom, to his pulse... Well, we know the results, don't we?

HTC_IME is the best keyboard out there (easily, for me anyway) but it's pretty easy to get and install. No point adding a third keyboard to the mix when most will be happy with the default. Of course I can't understand why anyone would want to use Touchpal but different strokes and all that babble.

Ok, in a way I'm glad you are using T-Mobile 2.1 as I was worried the Tre ROM was causing the problem (I'm using some of this in FLB).

I'm 90% sure that the problem is related to the CUSTOM_HU update. This has caused weird issues for people in the past. The only solution is to flash 2.1 again then recovery, then flash flb.

You could also flash the Tre 2.1 update instead of t-mobile. This will work.

Ok, looks like the problem was in CUSTOM_HU see what I did now and everything is working as it should so far:

1. got Official HU update without CUSTOM_HU
   
2. install recovery image
   
3. flashed flb mod 1.0 using recovery mode
   

I didnt check my purchased market item yet though. Will do it later.

Is there a way to install the spanish pack for the touchpal keyboard? by default my 1.5 rom had that installed...

It should have been supplied with the rom but got corrupted. I'll find a working copy.

Copy to SD and install from Astro. Reboot phone and will be showing in Touchpal :)

I first installed FLB-MOD at beta 5.1 stage and was quite pleased with it then, and now I'm mightly impressed with v1.0, no crashes, no freezes, 3G works, WiFi works, SMS works, it really has breathed new life into my phone.

Is there a way in this rom to keep the status bar as it is now, with white clock, but to change a backround in settings and messaging into white?

I have to say that v1 solved all of my problems with fc... not a single one since I changed system to this verzion!

If you don't have a ext2 partition the apps are stored to the device. If you have one, Apps2SD is used.

Perhaps you mean the 2.2 feature where you can choose for each app the storage?

Just to add - purchased app is there, the market is working. This rom is closest to perfection, now I know it by personal experience. Recommend!!!

Won't be possible to change the background in messaging to white in the message list, but reading them will be in white.

Changing the settings background can only be done if the framework is white as any changes which allow the settings to be white will result in the clock being in black :)

Ok thanks for answer... good to know that I can stop trying to change that, and start appritiating this rom for all the good things it has. This was my only complaint about it. Not a single fc since i flashed it (v1.0)

Try the Handcent app for sms. U can mod the apperance overthrere...

very nice work on the ROM i like it sofar but seems a bit slower than the tre rom? (maybe its the launcher pro issue) i was wondering if this ROM is built on top of the hungarian update? if it is how simple is to have it wit the tre update as a starting base?

It's a mix of Tre and t-mobile with some rmb2 bits.

i just want to say thankx for the guide update with no problems i got one question been using official 2.1hu and havent had any issue with it sure i dont get a few message but dont mind wat i do mind is the dam road sync and all this crapy apps that are taking my space is there a way to delet this how do i do it any guides for this and could a step by step be made plz thankx

FLB-MOD doesn't contain RoadSync. Any other added apps can easily be removed by going into Settings, then Applications, then manage applications. Everything that is designed to be removable on FLB-MOD will show up here.

There is but it's not easy. The boot.img needs to be extracted, unpacked, the ramdisk unpacked then a config file editing so it's rooted.

Easiest and quickest way is to use an already rooted version of that rom. The guide at http://android.modaco.com/content/t-mobile...e-owners-guide/ will help with that.

just checked iv got 3days, and got a android.process.acore fc when leaving astro what causes this if its not to much to explane.

thanks men! I tried but you know what, it shows in touchpal and I can select it but word prediction simply doesn't work...s soon add I type a letter the keyboard hides like a crash... :D
