[ROM] FLB-Mod 1 (Based on Android 2.1)

Oh man this gave me a headache. I changed every gray png to black in the apk and it still wouldn't change. So i started looking in the most logical place framework-res.apk. And there it was laughing at me title_bar_medium.9.png.

So i changed that and voila

The PNG is in system/framework/framework-res.apk/res/drawable-mdpi. Replace it with this one

title_bar_medium.9.zip

Dam!!! :D you guys are good, but I think Il wait till the update comes :angry: , also does anyone know what class is the 2G SD that comes with the phone? its not writen on the SD anywere and im suprized at its speed.

So the pink is not in the xml files :angry: I guess the only way is to include the Tre services.jar or the entire framework folder in the next release in order to completely remove that hellish magenta from our phones. Cheers!

Battery life on this ROM Rocks... and I mean rocks like suicidal rock star with a belly full of Jack Daniel's and with a television in one hand and a shotgun in the other. Before this ROM, I used to envy people who moaned about having to charge every night. I was lucky if I managed to make it to the evening with a sliver of battery left, but now I'm reaching the evening with just a sliver of battery gone... Just thought I'd pass on this info, in the interest of science. :angry:

could you update actual LauncherPro with LauncherPro Plus or build a Update package to replace old with new one.

today released new LauncherPro Plus!

Upcoming widgets include:

People Widget – To quickly access all your contacts, or just your favorites, or a particular group. (Included in this release)

Bookmarks Widget – Quick access to your browser’s bookmarks

Friends Widget – Lists your friend’s status updates from Facebook and Twitter, and lets you update your own status too.

Calendar/Agenda Widget – Shows you a calendar you can scroll through to switch months, and also lets you see your agenda for any particular day right within the widget.

Messaging – Scroll through a list of your SMS messages or one by one. Quick links to delete messages, reply, etc.

These widgets will be added over the next couple of weeks. The “People” widget is available right now to LauncherPro Plus users. There’s going to be other features in the future that will be available only to Plus users too.

Looks nice jekin! But it's a paid app ($3), so I don't think it's possible to add it to the rom :angry:

I have a serious issue. I had the beta installed and then installed the 1.0 version but with Launcher Pro. This didnt work, got stuck at the loading screen and no further. So I tried to load the standard 1.0 version and I get the same. If I install the Hungry update it works fine, but I cannot upload this rom any more. I get a speckled screen like a corrupt display first then the pulsing logo and no further. I have done everything in the guide step by step. Has the launcher pro version of the rom bricked my phone?

I doubt it. Make sure you do everything according to the guide and that you downloaded the right file without any kind of errors (sometimes it doesn't download correctly and the zip is corrupted). Good luck!

Done all that. Both roms stick at the boot screen.

Then try the time machine, dec update, 2.1 (Hungary or Tre - whatever you want) and FLB MOD again. If that doesn't work, I'm out of answers... sorry

I only uploaded the Huawei File Manager (crap I know) for those who had an invalid URL error selecting music tones after getting rid of Astro. I installed Estrong but still got the error message sadly.

Plus I no longer have menu lag/memory problems since replacing Music Mod (not using the widget) with the stock Music app. I can even use the Kindle app or browse normal sized websites and listen to music without it stuttering or the music app just quitting.

Updated my Pulse to FLB-Mod v1.0 from MCR 1.7 this weekend - not changed it radically, just uninstalled Astro, Fancy Widget and TouchPal Languages and reinstalled my apps using Titanium

I think the Music Mod may be a little bit too intensive for the phone. Unfortunately I've not had time to replace this with the stock player but somebody did upload the stock music player which can be pushed to the phone.

Nice :D I won't flash it today because I just finished installing aps and setting up the 1.0 that I flashed about 2 hours ago (due to apps losing root acces after nandroid backup) ;)

So for a few days, I don't want to do all that again :D

Does anyone know if I need to update to new "Launcher Pro Plus", should I just install this as an .apk and use it like Zeam or need to replace launcher.apk from root explorer?

After nandrestore and loosing root flash that to get root back. You have to do it after every nandrestore. But it's better than wiping everything :D
