After nandrestore and loosing root flash that to get root back. You have to do it after every nandrestore. But it's better than wiping everything :D

Seeing as no one managed to help me previously, I decided to rip the stock 2.1 Music APK from the Tre ROM myself. I've uploaded it to Dropbox, along with the Huawei File Manager APK as well. Astro is terrible, I'd much prefer Estrong, but you get an invalid URL error trying to set an alarm tone if you don't have Astro installed. The Huawei File Manager fixes that.

A quick comparison showed a significant gain in CPU and battery usage with Music Mod over stock. The extra eye candy features aren't good enough to warrant it in my opinion.

Have been running FLB-MOD 1.1 for an hour or so and i must say that it runs a bit more smoother than v1.0

i'll attach a few of screenshots to show how it looks. oh and i must say that i love the new font!!

So i would like to know what's the best backup app free on the market cause i wanna upgrade to 1.1 without losing all my things.

Just finished the 1.1 install.

When I did the "a2sd cachesd" the system crashed and shut down.

EDIT:

Never mind. Seems it it supposed to reboot after that command now.

However when I do a "a2sd check" davlik is still not on SD ( I think because there are no * marking what is selected or not)

I think so.

Just selecting the apk using Astro prompted whether I wanted to replace the existing system file, so that works too and is probably easier.

Been running 1.1 for a little over an hour now, no problem what so ever. Thanks fibble :angry:

I flashed my Pulse with Tre ROM and then installed FLB 1.0 a while ago. What's your recommendations about the ROMs? Would you suggest to reflash the Pulse with HU update and than use the normally 1.1? Maybe it doesn't matter but you marked the 1.1 Tre as beta, because you haven't tested it. If there will be more releases in the future, will you always offer two versions?

Thanks for another great release from you. Great thanks...everything works perfect.

Just found something weird...maybe its not flb related.

When im connected to wifi and go off and then try 3G, doesnt boot straight away...

Have to connect 3G while i'm on wifi and then disconnect it.

Seen it in FLB1.0.

Anyone knows if this is over flb or...just Droid "feature"?

Thanks for the advice - replaced Music.apk using ES File Explorer, will see if this version works better

Also, thanks to Fibblesan for all the work on this update and hope you are OK after the unpleasantness earlier in the week

I have installed v1.1. everything works fine. But i have a problem with font style. Font default can't display unicode text. i compared 2 rom vers. No diffence in folder font. But in old version font displays unicode text well (Vietnamese). I think this problem maybe in touchpad settings.

How to change font style now? Any help? Thanks you (Sry cause my bad english)

Titanium Backup. Requires root though, and make sure that once you launch you click the ''Problems?'' button in the application, so it updates the busybox files.

Just installed FLB1.1, and first thing i noticed is that i have data signal in my office, with 1.0 i didnt (cant tell befor that cause i was in a different office with a different rom). Maybe the Tre kernel was affecting me after all...
