Guest brack Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Because Dalvik is on SD. :( apparently you are right, dalvik decided to move to internal for some mysterious reason. Hope it won't do this again.I have 37mb now. Acceptable.
Guest pavlis42 Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 for me 1.1 is better then 1.0, everything works well. great job. only one thing is missing and it is wired tether. Only PDAnet is working but for example proxoid will be better or clasic wired tether without sw on pc side.
Guest Krinyo Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Waiting for 1.1 Tre, maybe it's newest kernel doesn't freezing. I had the most stable system after installing the stock 2.1 tre...
Guest adam p Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Anyone having the same problems as me? Everytime I connect the Pulse it comes up as new hardware found but which USB drivers do I use? I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the official 2.1 PC Suite but it still does not work. The PC Suite which came with 2.1 does not include drivers for XP, only Vista and Windows 7 Use the XP drivers here: http://android.modaco.com/content/t-mobile...ers-7-vista-xp/ You'll need to unzip them and navigate to the folder when your hardware is discovered
Guest The Revolutionist Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Hi there! I've just got a T-Mobile Pulse on contract, and I'm planning on upgrading it to Android 2.1, and from reading these forums, this custom ROM seems the best option to me. Before I dive in and start following the instructions in the Ultimate Pulse Users Guide, I just want to clarify one point: do I need to follow the "Installing Apps2SD" instructions, or is apps2SD included in the ROM without need for these instructions? Thanks!

If you don't follow the steps the rom will work perfectly without apps to sd :(
Guest solongmarriane Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 My only problem is I can't seem to get Swype installed again (managed to get in on the beta test). I have followed their instructions and no luck, I'm wondering if anyone else is having similar problems. I always have trouble getting Swype going again when I reflash. It normally seems to take a couple of attempts. I have the Swype installer APK which I copy to the SD. Run it. Then run the installed Installer (if you get what I mean) and take it from there. Like I say it often takes a few goes. What problems are you having?

What problems are you having? I usually take 1-2 attempts, but i have uninstalled and reinstalled it at least 10 times since flashing the latest rom and had no success. According to the Swype website this may happen due to memory issues so i used a task killer to kill everything else but still no luck. I am wondering if it is caused by the change in the rom which means we no longer need autokiller, but I seem to have plenty of ram available. perhaps i have used too many installs, i have written to swype and sent a logfile of the failed install. do you have swype working on the latest rom?

Should help ya :( And afterwards install any custom ROM you'd like (after installing AmonRA of course since that'll be erased also) :P I think there shouldn't be any need for time machine and 1.5 though - should be able to update to official 2.1 any time. Guest Alcarne Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 I'd just sack them off. I was unlucky to choose them once for broadband and I won't do it again. Load of rubbish! I'm now with o2 and they really are super :( I had Virgin for a while and they stank so bad. Be Broadband is excellent. Consistent speeds during peak hours and no traffic shaping. Real unlimited downloads. I think they are owned by O2 actually.
Guest YuYeVoN Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 thnQ for the quick answers:D:D I was already doing it al over from the start and that seemed to work for me (the 2.1 official)...too bad tough cost me half my work day to get the phone running again:p
Guest D-D- Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 @flibblesan Is there a way to make the accelerometer sensor to not be that sensitive? Cause it turns the screen anyway. :S Tnx. I love the flb-mod anyway. :(
Guest roozor Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Dudes, Just wanted to check, when going from 1.0 to 1.1, i just need to wipe my SD card, format and partition it again. Also factory wipe, dalvik +ext? This is what i've been doing every time i install one of fibbles updates. Alex

Guest Epic-Emodude Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Hi, I just installed FLB MOD 1.1. Love it, its really fast and quick. Is there a chance of releasing future updates as an update that just changes what needs to be changed rather than the whole ROM to save continuously flashing new ROMs and loosing everything. Thanx Aaron
Guest biron_w Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Be Broadband is excellent. Consistent speeds during peak hours and no traffic shaping. Real unlimited downloads. I think they are owned by O2 actually. Yes they are. BE* is slightly more expensive but you can change a few things about your broadband if you use them that you can't with o2. But for my needs o2 are fine.
Guest _melchett Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Ok biting the bullet tonight and going up to 2.1. Is this 'time machine' people are talking about the release from Hauwai that can allow you to put any version, inc. 1.5 back on the phone? As i'm still 1.5 and MCR 1.7 i need to flash a 2.1. I'm thinking the TRE version as i've read that it has a better kernal. But would people recommend the FLB1.1 or 1.0. There seems to be a differing of opinion depending on which version (hung/tre) you used. Like i said I think i'll go for tre. I've also seen that people suggest putting the dalvik cache on the sd card. I'm using a class 2 sd card, so is this wise. If i don't do it will have have no free ram whatsoever? I'm definately using a2sd (as i do at the moment) but i have left the davik as was. Therefore questions 1)Tre or Hungary 2) FLB 1.0 or 1.1 3) Dalvick on sd or not. THANKS!
Guest topspinserve Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Everything works with FLB 1.1! :( I touchcreen and wifi problems with FLB 1.0, but all resolved! FLB 1.1 is fast and works great for me. Tmobile U8220. Thank you!
