Well iv been using 1.1 for a few hours now and I must say it feels much more smoother IV had no FC's which I would of by now with 1.0, im using ADW 1.0.1 everything set up the same as when I was on 1.0 apart from my ext2 is now ext3 dont know if thats got anything to do with it being smoother someone with more experience might know, installing my apps from market was a bit tricky but that could of been my broadband connection, so yea Very good job all seem to be working fine.

Great Job Thanks.

Edit>also I use fancy widget and it seems to be keepingn its time better everytime I check the time is correct.

A2SD doesn't work now for you, since the kernel doesn't support ext3.

therefore it can be smoother, but less free space.

A2SD will still work using ext3. The only difference between ext3 and ext2 is journaling support. If you use an ext3 partition on a device with no native support for ext3 then it'll simply just use the partition as ext2. No problems caused.

Added to my check list.

I'd just sack them off. I was unlucky to choose them once for broadband and I won't do it again. Load of rubbish! I'm now with o2 and they really are super :(

That would involve paying BT for a line installation. Forget that :(

I'm having issues with vpn connections in 1.1

They seem not working at all. I think this is kernel issue, because it doesn't work on original rom from huawei.

In 1.0 it works fine, so I'm staying on 1.0.

Great work. :(

So what your saying is even as im using ext3 theres no support for it in this Rom so it uses it as ext2 is this corrrect? dont mean to confuse anyone

The new Rom works for me fine, too. Thanks.

But i'm wondering because i can't found all Apps in Market.

Not only with this version, this is in all Versions from your Mod.

Why is it so?

I searched for: Dropbox and Waze

Drobox installed from APK works fine.

Hey guys,

i have the same problem. It says, there's a syntax error in the install file.

For me even worse. I try vanilla framework, give me syntax error. Wiped everything, flashed flbmod 1.1, and boooom! same syntax error. Anyway, out with battery for 10 second, wipe all, flash flbmod 1.1 worked, again flashed vanilla framework and syntax error..... Anyway tried 5 tims what i say few lines ago. Now i wait. Any solution?

v1.1 - 21st July 2010 (the "let's release the 1.1 rom now and hope for the best" edition) Latest Release

Boot into recovery and wipe Data, Dalvik and ext before flashing. See this guide for help.

FLB-Mod v1.1

Download: flbmod_v1.1_tmo.zip (64.93 MB)

Vanilla style framework (flash through recovery, do not wipe):

Download: framework-vanilla-1.1.zip (1.95 MB)

Information about changes:

What is the vanilla style framework for? Do I install that after I install 1.1? Or is it just to put everything back to a vanilla style GUI if you prefer that better?

This

It is to put everything back to a vanilla style GUI if you prefer that better.

I don't know but I think the Flibinator made the ROM T-Mobile style (I installed the Blue framework before I even booted!)

Will the vanilla framework replace ADWLauncher ?

BTW I am getting a "syntax error in script" while installing framework vanilla ? Am I doing something wrong ?

No, your ADWLauncher will stay.

I think either that Flib coded the vanilla script wrong, or your download corrupted.

How do you install apps to the SD card? I have formatted the SD card correctly and have ran a2sd check in the terminal emulator and the results seem to be fine but whenever I install an app the internal memory drops.

Also in the notification bar at the top it doesn't seem to display the type of data network I'm currently on, it used to show a little G, E or 3G symbol but now nothing :(

Any help?

Oddly I just restated my device for the third time due to a system freeze ( two times navigating with opera mini, the third in google maps). 1.1 seems smoother, but apparently there are some problems for some user that do not exists in 1.0

After updating to the 1.1 Mod I've noticed that the 'pixie dust' (my notification ringtone) has gone.

Is it possible to put it back on for the next update or let me know how I can put it on myself?
