How do you install apps to the SD card? I have formatted the SD card correctly and have ran a2sd check in the terminal emulator and the results seem to be fine but whenever I install an app the internal memory drops.

Also in the notification bar at the top it doesn't seem to display the type of data network I'm currently on, it used to show a little G, E or 3G symbol but now nothing :(

Any help?

From the OP:

A2SD is enabled but my free space is still going down

Note: If you apply Darktremor Apps2SD and still notice internal storage is decreasing, this is due to the dalvik-cache not being moved. By default, Darktremor Apps2SD will not move the dalvik-cache on boot.

If you want to move the dalvik-cache to the sd card, type:

a2sd cachesd (move dalvik to sd card)

Make sure your SD card is at least a class 4 before doing this, otherwise you may run into performance issues.

Try 1.1 and will see... flib has problems, lost pulse, has no broadband.

1.1 messedd a2sd, older kernel, missing sounds, and so on... putting apps with no use, rom manager, touchpal, every updateis so differet, that we cant call it update... not to mention that terrible font, huaaa try zegoe... another try maybe... i cant see anywhere how to run jit, but fibble writes it is working for him... only thing he messed in 1.1 that i apreciate is original boot screen, like it...

Please flib, new update with tre rom, repaired mistakes (really lot of), guide to enable jit, we need you so pu yourselv together...

1.0 rocks the most, and sorry for typing errors, writing from 1.1 with old stupid hungarish kernelcrap

1.1 is an update, my phone is working great without issue including A2SD. If there are apps YOU don't use then you can just unistall them yourselve, Flibble can't create a custom ROM for every individual.

Once Flibble is back online then I'm sure we'll get another update etc.

I am looking forward to Fibble online, what about LETS GET FIBBLE NEW BROADBAND?

Must say that i am bit p***ed off, i went to tre update because of 1.0 and tre kernel, and 1.1 was not there stable, so updated to hungaria, i hate that tmobile logo at boot!

A2sd is woeking but set it up as blind, a2sd check is messed, empty brackets...

What about jit guide? Fibble wrote it is working for himm...

About JiT Flible was saying that is working FOR NOW.

The problem with JiT is that after 3-4 days the phone becomes unstable due to low memory problem, that was the issue in the past and it is issue now, so he never promised that will include JiT in ROM release.

About Tre ROM, you will need to be patient and wait a couple of days, there will be release based on Tre Kernel.

So chill out a little.

If you really want JIT, there is a flashable .zip in the Pulse DropBox, as well as this font and the original. I think you need to ask Daniel Williamson for an invite.

No, your ADWLauncher will stay.

I think either that Flib coded the vanilla script wrong, or your download corrupted.

Either corrupted or I forgot to sign it :(

It did work but becomes unstable after a few days. It's really not worth using right now.

Updates will come soon.

Just installed FLB 1.0 with Launcher Pro :( I will wait for 1.2 to become available so that the problems with 1.1 (if any?) are fixed.

So far everything has been ok, and it pretty much runs as fast (if not faster!) than Android 1.5.

Thanks for all of the work fibble, I shall be dontating :(

I downloaded it four times and the error will be the same. So I think it couldn't be a corrupt download...

Had a screen freeze with FLB 1.0 on Saturday night. I had GPS and 3G enabled, and I was using the Quickpedia app at the time. The battery was less than 50%, but it wasn't into the yellow range yet. I've got the Hungarian 2.1 ROM with the customized HU update installed. I never installed any of the Tre stuff, since I'm not even completely sure what that refers to (I remember hearing about a ROM from some Swiss site, is that the same?). I'm also confused about flibblesan saying that he's downgraded from the Tre kernel, since the changelog I see on the first page never mentions the Tre kernel being put in! All I see is an "updated .29 kernel from Huawei". If there's any more useful information I can provide, ask fast, my memory's fading fast. :(

The android.phone process force closes all the time after the update to 1.1 and even after getting back at 1.0...

Any solution to that?

Ok found that it's the contacts service causing the acore FC once booted.

Initial investigations show that the contacts app is being pushed out of memory as we don't exactly have a lot to play with.

Information about that can be found at http://beta.swype.com/android/faq/

Look for "Advanced: I receive one of the following errors when I try to install Swype:"

No, it really should not be force closing all the time. If it's happening in v1.0 also then you really need to start looking at the logs to track down the cause.

I'm also receiving the error, which didn't occur when I used the 1.0 ROM

Is it possible that something got changed in the 1.1 update which is affecting Swype from working?

No. Swype installation would often not work for me in older versions of the rom.

Hello flibblesan!

I have a problem with the latest rom:

It wipes my battery in about 10-12hour without using the phone!

Why is this? There isn't any running app in the background!

P.S.: The previous rom isn't do that!

Hey Flibble,

Thanks - I did check the Swype website first and followed all the instructions in the FAQ. They suggest it may be a memory issue so I installed Advanced Task Killer and made sure everything I could close was closed before install, including removing all widgets from home screens. This left ample free memory but it still wouldn't install after multiple attempts. I am wondering if the changes in the ROM to replicate autokiller might have something to do with it?

The FAQ suggested sending them (Swype) a log file (using Sendlog) if it still failed and I did this almost a week ago now but have not had a reply from them. There is also the possibility that I have used up all my installs but I would have expected a different message, and would still need them to reply that they have reset it.

This is my only major problem with an otherwise great ROM, have a had a couple of random reboots, missed 1 text and suspect the battery is dying faster but I am on the HU 2.1 and plan to change to Tre and the next Tre release of 1.1 when its ready. Thanks for taking the time to check my issue too!
