In ADW Launcher, how do you increase the size of the shortcut bar on the bottom of the screen ? At the moment I only have space for once shrotcut either side of the Menu button - but the screen shots show that its possible to have more than that - I just cant see the option in the settings ?

Also re the contacts app - I installed FLB 1.2 before the ROM was updated yesterday. What issue is the update designed to fix ? I havent had any problems with contacts so far, so is it safe to assume that my phone will be OK without updating anything ?

hi iam wondering what does the huawei boot loop consist in becouse not to sure if im stuck on one lol?it just keep sorta blowing up then stays on the logo then does it again....

adw-settings -> UI -> secondary actionbuttons (or kind of - i have the german version :) )

I did. And I had lots of "empty" screens after coming back to the home screen from an app (It took about 5 - 10 seconds to reload everything). I use the stock launcher now, which has no problems at all. Except for one: It's the stock launcher :) Goodbye all you little tweaks and fast launch buttons.

This most likely happens due to low memory and launcher being killed and then re-built. Which version are you using?

TBH, I think we should just stick to the very minimum with this phone because it simply cannot handle bells and whistles.

Fib, maybe you could create a very basic ROM and have each feature as an addon? I know you have done this already with the stock launcher but are there any other cases of customisations causing slowdown?

I was having issues with ADW so I turned off some of the features and it has solved it completely.

ADW Settings > System Preferences > Disabled the swipe up and swipe down actions.

ADW Settings > System Preferences > Untick system persistent.

ADW Settings > Screen Preferences > Destop Screens set to 3.

ADW Settings > Drawer Settings > Untick fade app labels.

after applying this contacts fix, i get endless acore force closes at start up and i tried to reboot two times but the force closes stilll exist. have restored the nandroid backup fro now (and oh yeah. i have installed the official tre 2.1 and flb 1.2 without any problems)

Upgraded from Beta 5.1 to Tre 1.2 with ClockWork Recovery a few days ago and its massive improvement.. Thanks Fibble..

I know there is lots of people trying to pull you in different directions and yes the ROM isn't perfect but its significantly better than anything else in offer.. Please don't try to do to much then get fed up with everyone nagging, because without you were stuck.

Boot into recovery and wipe dalvik cache. That will fix the force closes.

hmmmmm just install 1.2 tre and im not sure if it is on a boot loop since it seems the huawei logo blows up then stays on the logo and does it again ? and my nand backup dosent seem to work keep getting errors any advise?

I currently have the oscillation rom on my pulse but that seems to have halted, is it worth me putting flb on and will it upgrade oscillation ok or would I need to go back to stock hungary?

Heh, was on Beta 5, think it's time to upgrade though as it's not giving Launcher Pro beta has expired, please update. Not letting me do anything either, fortunately managed to get into the market to get an update for it so I can backup my apps etc.

ok this is were i stand it seems that all costom roms stay in a bootloop i used nan backup and it says erroe us it via adb dont know why im wondering if i wipe everything even the sd partition and delet everything from sd card an do the steps from the bigining or is therer a solution the official2.1hu works but rest stay in boot loop and also went back to 1.5.

@Flible....does the new version fixes only contact's/phone bug, I'm asking because I already fixed that and If you have applied other fixes maybe is worth wiping and installing all over again?

you do something in wrong order, maybe you first flash then wipe or so.

try it without sd card first to see if it works that way.
