Huh, can't people go back to 1.5 partition size using Huaweis "Time Machine" and then go to Tre 2.1 or Hungarian 2.1?

People can do that for sure but I'd rather not force people to use other roms when the UK rom works fine.

Ah, I see, so I guess that I'd have to update to UK 2.1 before installing the next release of FLB-mod then?

I have Tre 2.1 as my "base" now and FLB-Mod 1.2 tre.

No, you don't have to. You can use any official 2.1 ROM to update your phone but I'm going to suggest people pick the UK ROM if they want to update.

FLB-Mod 1.2tre will work with all the official ROMs. FLB-Mod 1.3 will also work with all the official ROMs. The difference is that I've had to move some files around to make the system folder fit on the UK rom. If I didn't do this then anybody that upgraded using that rom will find they cannot use FLB, and it's not really fair.

So if you are on Tre 2.1 you can stay on it :)

It does mean that I'll have to move a few apps to /data which really defeats the point in having extra space on /data

Well I guess T-Mobile UK didn't really think about custom rom users with a2sd :)

It's here now but please be aware that the changes are small and it has only been released for the benefit of people that updated using the UK 2.1 rom.

But i still want to upgrade new UK 2.1 software (cause i think my pulse display not so well in all older rom versions, still annoying when use widget like calendar widget). I read everything you wrote in some concern topics. Now i want to ask some question , help plz

+How to upgrade UK 2.1 software from FLB 1.2? install upgrade first or FLB 1.3 first?

+What do you feel with new upgrade on your pulse? display better? faster? or any change?

+Can i go back to FLB 1.2 after not have good work with new upgrade ? (I'm still using RA Mon Recovery 1.5.2).

You can upgrade to the UK 2.1 just like any other official rom by copying the dload folder to your card and using the system upgrade option in Settings > SD card and memory

Once you've updated to UK 2.1 you'll need to install recovery again which will then allow you to use the custom rom. FLB-Mod 1.2tre or FLB-Mod 1.3 will work for you.

However at the moment I'm not aware of any improvements between upgrading your phone with UK 2.1 and any other 2.1 updates so for now if you are happy with your current ROM then keep with it.

One question - I have 1.2 on my Pulse and use Opera as my default browser. I'd like to swap the browser button (or link) in the dock at the bottom of the screen to open Opera rather than the stock browser, but can't work out how.

Just pull over the Opera icon over the browser icon, and voila...

hay at flb so tmob uk finally released official 2.1 for pulse .so do you think installing it wil solve message not resiving bug or any others .im corrently using 1.2tre over 2.1hu so will instaling the uk oficial over costom works the same way.then 1.3

ok mate ill hold on to 1.2 till any proof since its a great room and ooo one more thing i enjoyed the privious boot animation on 1.0 instead of the huawei. could u ad one like a heart pulse monitor in green that will definately make the pulse the pulse lol thankx.

You'll need to flash the custom ROM based on the stock ROM which has root and a2sd enabled.

2.6.29-perf

The boot.img is 2.37mb like the Tre ROM so I expect it to not be much different. But it's bigger than the Hungarian ROM which does show that it really was a Beta they released!
