Guest ShiDi Posted June 10, 2010 Report Share Posted June 10, 2010 I'm using the old recovery build RA-hero-v1.2.3 How do i update to the latest carebear version? 1. via fastboot + adb : failed to load after input the 2nd line - adb shell reboot bootloader - fastboot boot recovery-RA-hero-v1.6.2.img 2. flashrec - cant make a backup recovery Is it a must to make a backup recovery image? Easiest way I found, as I couldnt do that method either nor backup in FlashRec was: Reboot into your current Amon Ra recovery image on your phone then connect via USB, then I think you need to type: adb shell $su mount -a flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-RA-hero-v1.6.2.img Worked for me :) Im assuming you have put the recovery-RA-hero-v1.6.2.img file on the root of your SD Card...
