you will probably have better luck asking for that in the 900/ 910 forum this one is for i8000/ 920

Sorry i miss the i8000L because i also have a i900L, but the main fact is that I already have my i8000L working i just installed all this files in this post

http://www.modaco.com/category/410/i8000-v...000-modaco-com/ then i unlocked with fastgsm service and is working everything, i mean, 3g, gsm, and gps, everything is working i just put this info because i have seen lot of info about this devices, it is supose that you shoundt flash the phone, and the csc part and i did it and is working fine, i just need to put another pda image to have my phone in better conditions thanks for your interest and im happy.

I have a question, what happens if I install a phone for I8000L in a I8000? that's because I live in Ecuador in Latinoamerica and I think that I have a I8000 and can't connect to the 3G network.

well, probably issue is that you'll lose your 3G capability, it depends on frequency used by your carrier in your area.

you can fix it by flashing the proper PHONE part.

The way to confirm the model that you have is removing the battery and checking the label, where the IMEI is located, if it say "I8000" without "L" then your suspects are confirmed, you've an I8000 instead of I8000L.

Frequencies are hard-coded, you can't change them by flashing a different PHONE part.

Before, I upload a europ phone (I8000XXJD1) and the same. My carrier said that the frequencies are 850 and 1900 Hz but I can´t connect to the 3G network with any phone I upload to my I8000.

In Ecuador there are not this phone model, I imported from europ and the seller said to me that is no blocked.

I put the *#7465625# code and it is all disabled. Do you have a hint for me? :'( maybe bought a Iphone? jajaja
