Active Sync problems

Good night everyone. I have my own jd3 lite rom based on twu2 script (thanks to him) and I pc can't detect omnia as device. When I plug in the cable the phone just begin charging. Doesn't appear that icon with 2 arrows (left and right). Some help? I use MMTask Manager and it show the Active sync there as runing application.

now I've uninstalled the mobile device center and it's supossed pc install it when the device is pluged in or not? but yes before uninstall it I had the device there. using win 7 x64

I had a lot of activesync problems a while back, but only while using specific ROMs. After hours of testing I narrowed the issue down to the ROM itself. On some ROM's I had to go disable the Manilla U.I. (settings>home>items, then uncheck the Manilla); other times, it would eventually sync (after I left it plugged in for about 20-30 mins). Once I switched ROM's, I never had any more issues. I would suggest you flash to another ROM and see if the problem still persists. Hope this helps a little.

looks like it's my rom fault. no onw knows how it happens? I've used the twu2 script . thnks

I've tried another rom but happens the same :S maybe pc problem? I'm confuse because the two arrow on the top doesn't appear :s

And I've tried it on my mother's pc and it worked. I also went to device manager on my pc and can't find the GT-I8000... some one can help me pls? thanks

Sounds like you are having the same problem as i am.

Samsung told me Win7 64bit isn't supported BUT people on here seem to have it working.

What shows up in Device Manger when you attach you phone ? I see the device but it just can't load the driver the correct driver.

PS - I do hope this isn't a ROM problem. I'm running JC1 (full Samsung rom not a cooked one).

PPS - Note that if i try to use internet connection sharing, the machine sees the phone and connects perfectly .....
