What I DIDN'T like, yonn mate, are the following:

a ) Too many dialers (aren't taking serious memory). What for, bro? Is this feature your roms' users demand?

b ) I didn't like much that... icon pattern in the Home page. I mean, these TWO rows of icons - in the iPhoneToday plugin. I've seen in OCK's topic, another user who made a THREE page sliding upgrade, so you can easily slide the finger and change the 4-icon pack. That would be better. Because, what's the point using a fine wallpaper..., when you CAN'T see it?

c ) I never care to have a calendar SO handy (in M2Dv2 tabs). What I DO care, are some Today plugins. Can I REPLACE that Calendar tab? I guess you used TV tab to edit it, right? All I need, is a BLANK TV tab, to play with it via M2DTP... Btw, how in the earth can I RENAME the damn "Orange TV" tittle??? I tried that trick in XDA-Developers (with editing the Manila2D.exe.0409.mui) but didn't change anything...

yonn, is there any way to disable the headphones icon in the s2u2 screen as it always seems to be there when phone is locked?

Hi Youann!

I am using your latest ROm since yesterday and must say it is one of the best ROM's that I have used. The touch response is amazing. I don't know how you did it. Is it some new driver or some thing else, but it is really superb. The ROM is very fast. M2D2 is very smooth. Today plugin never vanishes :) as is common in other ROM's that I have used. The new MMS/SMS is very fast compared to previous builds. However, I have noticed that I can't find group SMS sending option. In previous SMS software when I press on "To" option it used to show a screen for seleting categories. If I select a category all the mobile no. of that category were automatically selected, but I can't find this option in the present SMS :lol: software or may be I am missing something. Please help?

Also though the functionality of the ROM is excellent but its looks need to be improved. May be it needs an OCK :( touch. Lastly as has already been suggested in these pages that the available RAM to the prgrams is less may be due to loading of too many similar programs like three type of dialers etc.

Like I said, dear friend yonn, I would LOVE to test/use your new "Sense" rom...

But, there are some issues I wonna customize.

There is that iPhoneToday plugin's two rows pattern; I want a simple line/page, with different (if I want to) pages and more icons - if I'm sliding my finger to the right. Acugu (a user) made that so - I guess, this is very easy to do it, via the iPhoneToday's settings???

Also... Just because you used that many icons in the Home page, you put a SMALLER M2Dv2 ("Sense") theme, with small (not fullscreen) weather icons and located in different possition. I would like to use fullscreen icons and locate them in the middle and bellow the clock.

And finaly, the "Calendar" part; I don't want it - instead I want my Today plugins. How to change that?

Before yonn reply you, let me help ya:

1) You need to install (first) the SDKCerts.cab and then, find (here in Modaco, in a thread - don't remember, search it) a different taskbar and install it.

2) That's very easy. You need to extract the default .m2dct theme (via M2DC), make it .rar file, open it, extract the files into a directory... find the file of the bar and edit it with Photoshop. Then, re-make the theme file and place it in you i900's Windows.

3) Do you want to replace it with SOMETHING ELSE (like me!)? Or just remove it? If you just want to disable it, simply with the M2DC, go to the tab button and uncheck it.

4) You can do that with the M2DTodayPage utility. But it's a bit tricky, because you need to "play" with the X & Y dimensions. If yonn PLACED it there, he probably tested many times and the best place (and STABLE!) is there.

The only config related to M2D I see is ... M2Dtp configurator. Nothing else.

I checked earlier posts from Yonn,

he says : "The M2DC is old now and HTC released newer M2D version called it Sense .. What Do you want to use M2DC for?"

So I guess M2DC is not there in this ROM.

I know it was yonn's text. Of course this is a "new" M2D ("Sense"), but even to change the tabs' sequence, you NEED very much a tool like M2DC. Not mention much more other uses.

Sorry for nooby quation... How do i change wallpaper or whole theme. If i change it in Settings and softreset on iphoneplugin is still previous wallpaper. Tnx for info.

Hello bro... headphones icon in s2u2.... this because of SRS Wow.... every rom cooked with SRS will have this probs... change this registry HKLM/System/State/Hardware/Headset - change to 0... soft reset... job done!

I found though some issues on this i900 ROm sense remix that you released:

1. The GPRS settings... I read about ADC on the previous posts, installed it and thought it will work fine... upon testing it, it wont connect to my network... it has the settings on my network but it just wont connect. i find it strange to see on my "connections" option that instead of "connect using INTERNET" or "MY WORK" , I see the newly installed setting as "proxy internet" (which has my network settings).. this is unusual because even though i tried to choose "automatically configure connection to configure my sim settings, it does the configuration successful but when I connect, it will say "cant connect, The connection has been ended".

what makes it more strange is that I cant even browse even using wifi even if im connected to the network...

2. SMS issue.. the numbers sending me some sms which are already on my contact list does not appear as the name of the contact but instead reads it as number as if the number is not registered..

since the ROM doesnt have PIM backup which i use to backup by contacts, this time i use sprite backup and restored it to my phone after flashing this ROM... could this be an issue?

1- I always get sort of question and don't no why .. I use WAP and internet and they work fine .. Try the Dialup En-Dis after operator settings this at least will help a little. At the moment I'm doing some maintenance in OEM folder to see if I really miss or changed things related to this situation.

2- Ok with me Name instead of number .. Using sprite backup might actually cause some other problems...

a) Lets count them > they're three .. Keeping in mind The MS dialer in default and can't be removed .. So it 2 extra ... The Samsung Dialer and the Lite "kept as default" dialer.. Now the samsung dialer must be in every ROM so vido-calling people can do video calling.. So remaing the Lite dialer which is only ~400 KB in size and nicely skin-able.. Of course That doesn't mean All dialers are working together in same time but just the activated dialer... SO no memory related issues

:) I have extra space and thought I add extra line... Now thinking to utilize space for Call History instead.

c) You can always replace calendaer tab "yes TV tab" using M2DTP - Just replace defined calender plugins with what you want. As for naming - Yes edited Manila2D.exe.0409.mui ... In your case maybe you forgot signing it?

I did not change GPS settings compared to last GTX ROM ... I include GPS MOD Driver in my ROMS ... I'll test removing it and reconfigure it...

I just testing creating a category and add names to it .. It worked .. The category showed in contacts and can be selected :lol: when pressing "TO:"

You can play with icons settings and pages using icons.xml in iphonetoday folder in program files... If you want weather to go back in position then just replace hometab weather lines in HTCHomeSettings.xml with the ones in previous skin... Calender part use M2DTP tp replace plugins "In my case -> edit Window00".

1) If you mean the Bottoms as you said > this Theme dependent. Usually named **SKBackground.png "i.e. gfx_SKBackground.png" like in my previous GTX ROM.

2) You mean the bar itself? or what above it? if you want to change the bar location and size "you'll need to edit HTCHomeSettings.xml" but if only icons then their name starts with hh_fw_tabbg... If you want to change tab content - Use M2D Tdy Config Windows tab.

3) Use registry as described in Post#3 and dsiable TVWidget. Then delete Window00 in M2D Tdy Config.

4) Yes you can by editing HTCHomeSettings.xml line:

<Property name="IDTABWG_TAB_RECT" id="2" value="0,297,240,45, 0,138,400,45" />

to:

<Property name="IDTABWG_TAB_RECT" id="2" value="0,297,240,51, 0,217,400,51" />

5) This require some graphics alteration: more specific: hh_people_focus_frame.png, hh_people_frame.png and hh_people_selected_full.png ...

I configured iphonetoday to use own background. Just go to it option and change wallpaper tab to use transparency. I don't know about Sashimi, maybe because this ROM use UDA_UC ? or it required specific dependency?

I see your previous idea about NeoMix Dark .. But I'm hesitant to cook it as it use many mortscripts which make lot of lags .. Isn't it?
