hello there

i lost the network signal after i did a regular hard reset from a omnia2 2009 mobile. samsung here in kuwait is offering to replace the motherbord for a 100kd = more than 300$ ..!!! as there is no international warranty :)

my questions are :

1-is it possible to change the rf calibration manually? ,

2-and would this fix the problem if ever ?

3- what is the sdm mode in octan ? would this help

your help is much appreciated.

regards

How did you do the hard reset?

The only way I can think of having that issue occur is if you tried a soft reset by using a toothpick to press in the small slot on the bottom of the phone (info from one of the sticky threads, or if you flashed the phone and used the wrong phone and/or firmware (though I'm guessing if the firmware was different, the phone wouldn't even boot up.

i used the 4 button method to hard reset. i know about the pinned post about the soft reset and I didn't do it.many other people are having a similar problem problem as mine and got their mother board replaced in the warranty.it is a common problem happening to mobiles manufactured in q3 2009
