Guest battletank Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 I've had no problems with TV Catchup and iPlayer. It also plays streams from crunchyroll.com exceptionally well. For the best picture, always click the in-frame option to expand the flash player to fullscreen.
Guest StuMcBill Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 Well it has been almost 24 hours since I flashed this Rom, and I find that the battery is almost the same, maybe slightly worse than other was when I was on MCR3.1. I have had it on since 5am, it is now 2:15pm and I am at 36%, I have made approx 12 5mins(ish) phone calls, been surfing the net intermittently, and checking Twitter etc. Everything else about this Rom is great though, if only there was a way to squeeze some more battery life. out of it, but its the same with official roms I believe. Display battery usage still seems high at +/-60%, but I am sure that will be something that is rectified when the source becomes available.

I just installed my baked Froyo ROM successfully and it boots correctly etc.. but I have no Contacts application at all (I checked three times) and the PDF viewer app FC on me. Does anyone have any clue and what I should do?
Guest EddyOS Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 PDF viewer same for me, FC (never used it before but left it in for the hell of it!!)
Guest Cyberdelia Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 are you absolutely positive you were not using this thread? subjects are pretty much the same ;) Maybe.. you are right.. I just don't understand how I get in this thread from the another.. but.. thank you a lot for your concern..!

Guest DigitalC Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 You have to download Flash 10.1 from Market first. Feeling kind of stupid now lol. Yup, working beautifully. RTE player here in Ireland looks great on it
Guest mr. winterbottom Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 PDF viewer same for me, FC (never used it before but left it in for the hell of it!!) ..... me too mr. winterbottom

Guest EddyOS Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 that's cause it doesn't have an H icon in Android ;)
Guest nekromantik Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 that's cause it doesn't have an H icon in Android ;) Hmm Not even a 3G+ icon? Im using the black status bar.
Guest EddyOS Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 Nope, it only says G, E, 3G apparently (could be wrong, mind)
Guest nekromantik Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 (edited) Nope, it only says G, E, 3G apparently (could be wrong, mind) ah ok bit off topic but Im just laughin at all the different rumors about froyo update for desire. First we had June 23rd now 1 HTC support person said update within 2 weeks, another said announcement soon and then o2 support said 2.2 update on 23rd June. When will it end lol Edited June 18, 2010 by nekromantik
Guest ph0rce Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 Just checked & the PDF Viewer is broken for me too. Not a lot of other issues to report; the LED hasn't misbehaved since last night but I'm still getting lag on the touchscreen, sometimes after an unlock I have to swipe several times before it detects it. Any news on an update for all these issues?
Guest HearThatVoiceAgain Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 When will it end lol Probably not on June 23rd. :-)

Guest Abra Cadabra Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 Had the same issue - not working for me as well as my exchange server requires pin code... Look for moxier instead for a while until its going to be resolved. Saw Moxier on the app store but no trial version? Running TouchDown at the moment on trial on Paul's latest and working well. Moxier looks cleaner but can't put $30 on it until I see if Froyo by some miracle does come out officially by end of the month with Exchange support. Please let me know if there is a way to get Moxier on trial. Only minor niggles at the moment outside of Exchange support - LED sometimes stays on, battery is slightly worse than stock 2.1 I think - or maybe I'm playing with the phone too much. No issues with echo or WiFi - guess I'm lucky. Love the ROM otherwise. Ponied up for the ad-free. Definitely money well deserved. Thanks Paul.
Guest Kingcold Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 Hey Paul everything is working proper exept the browser. Always fc whit the standard browser an skyfire. Dolphin, xScope and Opera are working fine.
Guest StuMcBill Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 Is there anyway I can disable / remove the zoom buttons in the browser on froyo, since I just use pinch to zoom?
Guest Kingcold Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 I heave a problem, when i hold my device horizontal to tipe in the adress bar of the browser, the notification bar always appers and its very difficult to tipe cause the whole keyboard is shaking up and down. that appears in very browser i tryed. sorry for my english
