It worked when I flashed the first file, but stopped working after I applied the fix. My phone is now back to how it was :D

/Edit: I lie! It works fine

I am gathering help and trying to make a better way to do this but at the moment it works thats the main thing! This and wifi-n means apart from speed increase froyo has no advantage to 2.1 anymore :-P

Help! After applying the rotation mod, the boot takes alot longer, and I cant use the phone as Sense continually force closes after unlocking the phone (from the lock screen). I am using 3.1 MCR

Saved by nandroid! I think I will wait until this has been tried a bit more.

Confirmed working by 5+ people and myself so far, you must be using mcr3.1 though

Clean MCR3.1 here, rotation mod seems to send Sense into a FC loop. Phone is unusuable, cant even get to settings, but nandroid to the rescue.

Good idea and effort, hopefully it'll work for everyone soon.

Sounds to me like an incompatible settings.apk as it was pulled from a cm rom which is not meant for this rom lol but dont worry we are working on getting a settings.apk built from the original in mcr3.1 so hopefully we will have that working soon because the framework is fine and rotation works 100%, its just setting it in settings.apk :-(

Is Sense even meant to be able to display in landscape modes? Maybe that is what is causing the error, because I am using Launcher Pro and have no issues what so ever, as that is designed to be viewed in all rotations.

That is exactly right. Sense WILL NOT rotate at all. Its not meant to. But its not meant to fc either, it doesnt for me!

Launcherpro rotates fine, thats what I use :-D

If you read first post and reflash settings fix you can get wifi settings working again :-P

Sorry, didnt pay attention to what ya posted =O

Can Confirm That wifi settings do work along with Rotation.

AND phones seems to take longer to load. Have to press Screen Power Button to get HTC Sense to start loading otherwise it'll just stay at 'quietly brilliant' screen? Meh, no biggy.

Thanks!

I thought this was specifically for MCR3.1?

Even though it didn't work for me, it did take a scary amount of time to start up the first time.

The framework is designed specifically for mcr3.1, the settings.apk was pulled from cyanogenmod rom
