Is your Device OFF? Try to disconnect your Phone and then reconnect, but remember to keep it Off!

hmmm....I have the Phone ON when I connect and then I press Detect. After that I switch it Off! Sometimes it stays like you said, then I just plug it off and on again. Works all the time. I also have Viste 32bit. Maybe you missed a step before, I'm not sure!#

Are you running Octans with administration rights?

Try 'start downloading' ;)

Are you sure you installed the drivers? :(

Close Octans and run without administration mode. I read somewhere it helped.

I also have this message often, I don't know whats wrong with yours but when I plug off and on, OR close Octans and start again it works!

yes yes you are just doing great, just dont do anything watch it when it starts to caliberate screen just leave it untill it reboots so the time would synconize on your PC time..

it reboots 3 times untill you see the Windows mobile default theme...

and also wait untill you see the octans mini says its all done- if it doesnt show its ok just close it.. remember if the WM default shows then its done already

I always use a Virtual Machine (VMWare) with WinXP for all my flashing on both my Samsung and my HTC. Vista/7 always succeeds to screw things up somehow ;)

Im at this for over 3 days. I even try virtualization of xp with vmware and doesnt work either. I change drivers for and from xp in the w7 compmanager, erase it and let auto update do the job, plug and unplug usb on and off, open activ sync center and with auto open disable, open and close octans several times, at least two different vesions 2.0 and 2.14.

Im not that fool, Ive been flashing htc diamond and pro for the last two years...never a problem.

Somebody in the mood to help me out?
