Guest courtlandre
I noticed while running some benchmarks (FPS2d), I noticed the FPS never went above 30. Has anyone else noticed this? The Evo 4G had the same problem and it looks like the guys over at XDA have recently fixed it. http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/23/evo-4g-...ommunity-video/
Guest rovex
Maybe, but the streak is rare in that its a snapdragon running on 1.6. Its a slower than 2.0+ by a fair bit which might be the reason. It benches slower by up to 50% compared to the Desire (for example) anyway. Guest Chaz_UK
I've noticed the 30FPS limit in An3DBench too. When compared to my Archos 5 Internet Tablet and my Nexus One, it gets beaten by both and doesn't go above 30fps I'd guess that the streak has the same issue as the Evo.
Guest gingernator
HTC have confirmed that the 30fps limit on the Evo is due to the limitations of the HDMI out, so with the Streak having a HDMI dock, it's probably the same reason. Hopefully Dell or some clever dev can put in a software switch to detect the absence of the dock and ramp up the fps, or make a rom that has no limit but no dock support (I wouldn't care).
